Well, they're going to attack me on my turn and probably butcher me... I'd like to go through one encounter without going down.

@SPYROHAWK Can I jump above or slide under the Owlbear 2 ? since they are focused on Kyelas that shouldn't be hard.

 

First time i've gone done.
(Not counting the banshee since almost everyone went down)
Also van i just point out that the owlbear jumped 10 feet into the air just to take me down... I feel like there are easier targets.

 

Technically he didn’t have to jump too high off the ground.
He’s a Large creature, standing at a good 7+ feet.
He’s got a reach of 5 feet when attacking.
Normal vertical jumps are 3 + (str mod) feet high if they get a running start.
Then again, I don’t know how high you were off the ground.

 

Jumping can be done if you get a running start, and only if you have a +2 STR modifier or greater. Or, if you want, an athletics check.

Sliding takes an acrobatics check

No, like I said, I actually did something different with the owlbears in this encounter. You will see later.

Also, if Alas can get next to you, he will save you. His plan is really good.

No, you didn't go all the way through the slide. You ended up stopping short, right underneath the owlbear's stomach.

He then starts to run and slide under the owlbear in front of him to end up under it, he then grabs Althaios' head and says :
"I WILL BE THE ONE TO KILL HIM, SORRY !"
Alas then disappears in a big thunder sound, that can be heard 300 feet away, to re-appears behind Heat, with Althaios, he will probably be safe, not the case of the owlbears who took a big electrical shock.

Thunder Step :
Damages : 3d10
8 + 1 (finzogubzouegb) + 10 (YEAH) = 19

CON save, 19 thunder damages on a fail or 9 on a success.

We are going to have a cooked Orc's meat too, his corpse is in the range of the shock ;-;

 

You slide under the owblear grab Althaios and both disappear with a sonic BOOM (which as stated, can be heard up to 300 feet away), and you both reappear near Heat. As you disappear, the thunderous boom knocks the owlbears with great force.

Owlbear 1 fails the CON save, taking 19 thunder damage
Owlbear 2 passes, taking 9 thunder damage
