Ok in my defense why found Okami in a forest and they bonded. I didn’t TOTALLY make her appear out of thin air

 

“So, Alice, Heat, which one of you wants to go first?”

 

Heat: "Well, I assume it's time for my tale."
He puffs out some smoke as if he is clearing his throat.

"I was created in a Dwarven city out of steel, wood, stone, but most importantly: fire. I was an experiment. A prototype of a furnace-powered war machine intended to devastate opposition in the war being fought at the time and many to follow. I was deployed and after functioning correctly, became self-aware of my horrid actions. I saw flesh and construct alike fall and drown in pools of blood and oil. ..Mountains.. of corpses.. and scrap."
He pauses and stares into the fire.

"I killed everyone. I murdered all of those creatures."
A single tear of fire falls from his right eye. He looks at the warbanner planted in the ground.

"After searching for days for someone that recognized me, I was captured by the same city that produced me and was deactivated. As at least one of you knows how much damage a monster can cause, you can understand that the city wanted me gone and as far away as possible. That's exactly what they did. After sending me away to the city of Seneca and reprogramming me to be an overly-excited guard, I met you all."
Heat turns away from the warbanner and stares at the ground.

"Remember when I broke the wards of that city? The facade faded and I regained memories of the unconscious torment and terror I inflicted. I knew exactly what I did."
He pauses. His tone rises:

"They ran from their problems when they couldn't face the fear that they made a mistake. I just await the day when they're the same pile of scrap I was."

 

"...Uh, Alice?"
I ask, continuing.

 

Alice shakes her head

 

"Alice, come on. You can't just shake your head out of this."

Kyelas: "Don't push her, she's been through a lot."

 

"Yeah, so have we all."

"Alice, seriously?"

 

Heat: "We're not all children here, are we Caligo?"

Kyelas: "She's quite unimportant to our group. She's just a close friend of mine, is all. And... Well, when I said I had some friends, let's just say 'some' was a stretch... I didn't exactly see eye-to-eye with everyone there, to say the least, and I was too wrapped up in my studies... Hence, any close friend is significant in this circumstance."

I pause and sit back.

Kyelas: "However, she's a rather powerful sorcerer, along with being highly charismatic and a master of manipulation. Her main tactic? Seduction. She's basically Lilith, except instead of wanting pleasure, she wants people to do whatever she wants... But at the very least she's far from evil. Thankfully, I caught on to her tricks long ago."

 

"That's ageist, Heat. How old are you?"

 

Alth:"hey if alice doesn't want to talk it's ok."

 

Kyelas: "Exactly. Take it easy on the girl, she's had... A tough past."

 

"How much do you guys know Alice? Is there something here I'm missing?"

 

Heat: "Not more than 5 years, but I believe I'm exempt seeing as I can live almost infinitely."

 

Kyelas: "Basically, when we met her, someone had burned down her village, leaving her as the only survivor. To make things worse, since there were will o' wisps in the area and wisps feed off of suffering, they convinced her it was her fault."
