Right

So natural 20 means you double the dice roll. So if you rolled a 9 plus 4 for damage, it's an 18 plus 4.

So can you explain to me what that 9, 4, and 3 are coming from so I can make sure we have this correct?

 

I thought it meant you roll for damage twice and use both.
9: Damage roll 1
4: Damage roll 2
3: Strengh modifier
Recalculated, I'd be doing 21 damage.

So I just checked and that's correct. I would have thought thunder damage, but apparently not.

For the saving throw I need your spell save DC. It's 8 + prof bonus + CHA modifier.
