This document, starting at page 10, has a lot of good info about making magic items. Basically replace the “aether” with “souls” and it can be applied to necroalchemy

 

Yevor, Erevan, and Kyelas are the 3 people who almost definitely won't do it.

 

I could see Kyelas maybe doing it, maybe. Think of it like a Fiend Warlock or a Blood Hunter or something.

A lot of fiend warlocks use their powers to destroy fiendish cults (explained in Volos) and Blood Hunters use dark magic to destroy even greater evils.

I could see Kyelas accepting a deal with such a dark power, for the pure purpose of destroying said dark power

 

Alas would do it, if he wins something at the same time.

 

That being said, it also makes it seem more likely for Erevan to accept it, only for the purpose of destroying the dark source that destroyed his entire village.
