I take all of the "good" and "bad" stuff I can find, putting the elemental cult stuff at the top of the pile as I bring them downstairs.

Heat: "Friends! I have found some books on dark subjects, as well as elemental cults."

I hand the pile of books to Yevor.

 

"Curious. What else?"

"Researching dark subjects is by no means proof of evil, nor deserving of a death sentence."

Yevor's still KO'd, as far as I know.

 

I follow him.

Kyelas: "What have you found?"

 

Alth:"Books on elemental cults and other things"
He says this as he pokes around a pile of books

 

Pssst Alas has a Lore Book on him, maybe they are some things about the village ?

 

Kyelas: "Let me have a look."

I look through the pile. Religion check: 5 + 5 = 10

RIP my luck

 

I hand them to Erevan then.

Heat: "I would check for notes. There are some books on the celestial arts as well."

 

Kyelas: "Erevan, should you check the dark books for notes and I check the celestial ones?"

 

Erevan: "...very well."

I begin paging through the books. What kind of check would this be?

You find two books of interest.

One is an old tome with the title of “Midnight Tears” written in dark green ink on it’s dark leather cover

The second is a strange tome. It has a skull on the front of it, but nothing else. The curious part is that instead of a leather cover, the covers of it are made of iron, and it’s bound closed with a lock.

I'm calling it, every roll I make for Okami will be a NAT 20 but every roll I make for Kyelas will be a fail.

Can Okami try investigating the book, because she can TOTALLY read (this is mostly a joke roll since I know she can't)
