The other one (which targets Node 8, which you called Node 6) misses, obviously. I would make it hit someone else, but no one is near it. Kyelas is right next to the path of the blast though... nah, I feel nice... this time.

Also, you mention a few things like Catholics and Christmas which are real world things that don't quite translate to DnD, but that's fine. It could be a random holiday and people of a random religion

Attack Roll 2: 3 + 6 = 9

Damage Roll 1: 3 + 3 = 6
Damage Roll 2: 4 + 3 = 7

It probably dies.
