Blame me here. I designed the hound. Just curious: what do you mean by Bane of Doom?

 

Wait... you realize that only necrotic spells heal the hound, not all spells, right? You can use any of your spells as long as they don't deal necrotic damage.

 

Specifically, necrotic damage. So, Yevor casting Burning Hands would be fine, since that does fire damage.

You have a giant hand cannon that shoots lightning. Why is that not an option?

The feature is actually named Doom Absorption of Doom.

 

That's why Alas only use Eldritch Blast, all his non-AoE spells deals necrotic damages, and since I'm on holiday, trying to access to the map on phone is quite slow, so I can't know the position of other players x)

 

To be fair, Eldritch Blast is an amazing spell. With Agonizing Blast, Warlocks are closer to Arcane Archer Fighters than other spellcasters. They have some tricks that recharge on a short rest, but a focus on basic, spammable ranged attacks.

That's the point of your subclass... why would you pick a class all about firing a gun at things if you would then get bored of firing said gun? Also, it gets more abilities at higher levels.

See: Yevor. His class is about hitting stuff with a sword, and what does he do most of the time? Hit stuff with his sword. He also has some stuff he can do with it, like Booming Blade and Extra Attack.
