How, uh... narrow, is the beam of light?

 

Ti'Lin:"Something is coming."

 

Caligo: "A dark beast made of shadows, that's what."

 

Heat: "We've seen worse.."
"Hostility will be met with demise."

He draws his maul.

 

Alas : "There is no point in attacking it, just follows the hints."

 

Ti'Lin:"Hide somewhere narrow, right? Like those side paths along the main path?"

 

Alth:"great welp this should be fun"

 

Heat: "We will have to defend ourselves or flee if it begins attacking us, will we not?"

 

Ti'Lin:"If it is the shadow beast, we should hide somewhere narrow. That's what the instructions were."

 

Erevan: "With all respect, we will not tolerate continued disregard for the rules we have established. We must hide, now. Most likely on one of those narrow wooden paths."

 

5-15 feet wide

 

Heat: "After you."

 

Suddenly, whatever the creature is jumps into the light. It's large and completely black, with wisps of shadow rising from it's nose. It's canine in features, like a large hound. It snarls, and you hear one single word echo through all your heads. "Doom". It's teeth are completely black, and it's eyes are pools of necrotic energy.

Also, the darkness around the platform turns into dim light, btw.

 

I steadily make my way to one of the wooden alcoves, making sure not to look behind me.
I also use the Dodge action as my action.

Yevor: "GO!"
Who's within 5 feet of the count and is more than 20 feet away from an alcove?

 

I retreat into one of the alcoves with a wooden path.

Ti'Lin slowly walks backwards, not look back and searches for a wooden side path(or whatever they are called, the small paths)
