Yevor: "Right."

 

Kyelas: "Considering the rules, I'm assuming not everything up here is friendly. Namely, the spirits mentioned, though there may be something else. This isn't a normal attic."

 

It's an infinitely sized void that you can't see the top, bottom, or sides of, filled with a maze of junk. You don't say

 

I just keep looking at the junk, moving forward.

 

Eventually, the path comes to a T.

To the left, there's some kind of bright white light. To the right, just more of what you have seen

Alice pulls to Ti Lin's hand. "Pretty Light"

Kinte grunts, and mindlessly starts going towards it (VERY SLOWLY. Like, shuffling his feet, slowly.)

 

Caligo: “No no no no no!”
I run to Kinte, grabbing his leg from behind.
“Do NOT go there.”

 

Yevor looks at Alice and Kinte.
Yevor: "Don't go near those lights!"
Yevor: "!"

 

Erevan: "And I quote: 'You'll see a light to the left, go right instead.'"

"Let's go. Right. Don't even look at the light."

 

Yevor tries to get everyone to go right.

 

Kinte grunts sadly, but obeys

Alice nods

Alice and Kinte do as told

 

I go to the right as well, staying at the back to keep stragglers to the right.

 

You keep journeying, I assume, and you go for a while actually before any major splitting or something happens.

Spoiler: Caligo (I almost wrote Rang here)

Since you are at the back of the group, you hear something. Or rather, feel something. Something cold. Something behind you.

 

I rush forward a bit, drawing my sword and trying to use the reflection to look at what might be behind me.

 

Yevor: "What is it?"

 

Caligo: “Either this place gets a strong draft or there’s something cold behind us.”

 

Ah, good idea.

(going off of your passive perception here)

You see some weird creature, but before you can get a good look, it scutters off into one of the side passages

 

Caligo: “Okay, It’s something behind us. Let’s either quicken our pace here or use anything metal you’ve got to serve as a reflection. Or both.”

 

Yevor: "Everybody! Forwards!"
He also draws the sparking Lux Blade and uses it as a makeshift mirror.

 

I'm pretty sure there are more adjectives to describe a sword than "sparkling". That one's getting old by now.

 

I'll look up some synonyms.
