    I strongly disagree to this proposal. The gavel update is supposed to eliminate grinding, therefore Double XP should not even be proposed as a possibility.

    Where did you hear it was to eliminate grinding......theres literally 25 more levels to grind

    At first I was like "Eh its so little, it wouldn't do much..." But after thinking I realised quests pretty much help us level up, a lot, the totems could help bridge the gaps for levels that have little to no quests in them, but it would be nice to see them last longer and possibly be more effective for VIPs than players, 1.5x for players, 2x for vips?

    So 90% of forum community are VIO. So they want the x2.
    I don't want it.
    VIP would not share their x2.
    That's the human, give him power and he will never split it.

    I'd rather have swarms than VIP 2x.(I'm a VIP)
    But since the server need money they have to do "Something" Which Is this.

    For against people stealing grind spots, you should try to make it that only people in your party/ your friends will be able to use the totems range for use, so only you your friends and your party gets double xp in the radius.

    It sounds like a cool idea, but maybe the totems shouldn't take up inventory space, and should just be directly accessible via compass.

    Soo... if you were to be offline... would that still give you the totems? or do you need to be online to receive them?

    Also...Really i think it's a great idea but i (and i think most other people) would rather have a pet sheep that gives double xp to yourself and people around it. I understand that it might cause trouble with the EULA but seriously who wouldn't want a golden sheep/other mob that follows you and gives double xp?

    Its more like 15-20, because of the quests if you are lvl 75......................................................................

    Kind of funny how only VIP's reply to this thread.. seems legit.

    But, if I would have to choose, I think that @xXImShietXx's idea is the fairest.
    Instead of a totem, an aura would be better in my opinion, combined with the quote above.

    This idea from @Aeon:
    This is completely against the EULA. VIP's then could place a totem in the middle of nowhere, and then just happily play anywhere with their double xp.

    Feel free to disagree with me, but don't get me wrong. I don't want Wynncraft to die because it can't keep up with the costs. But it should be fair for everybody, which is the entire point of the EULA.

    Well, the person who placed the totem is the one who's sharing XP with others, so I don't see any reason as to why this is such a major drawback to you. It's fair for anyone who is influenced by the totem, and it should also be fair for the person who shared it with them.

    And I don't exactly know what you mean by the EULA being fair for everybody. Those who buy ranks are allowed to get cosmetics in return, but those who don't buy them get nothing. Is that considered fair?

    What I interpreted, was that a VIP could place a totem, and in that certain radius there would be x2 XP for everyone, and only there. If you then give double XP to ONLY the VIP who placed the totem (which is the 'unlimited range'), it would be unfair and against the EULA (since you can place the totem on a spot that isn't used for farming, for example in the middle of a big city)

    Sooo do you get double xp from quest if you place a totem before you finish a quest??? If so, can you just group up 10 vips, invite em to a party and finisch a quest where you get like 300K xp? than you get around 10 times that, so 3 million???

    Hmm... I see your point.
    I'm not sure why it's such a big deal that VIPs would be allowed to be willy-nilly with their totems, since they generate Totems that share the bonus, but I understand.
