    Basically, I'm suggesting crafting.

    Mechanics
This would require the addition of two new merchants.

A "Disenchanter" would be responsible for creating "base" items.
These items would have no damage, and no identifications.
You would put an item of any tier or level into the GUI, and it would give you a price to disenchant the item.

The disenchanted item would have the same level and tier of the previous item, just completely clear.

At the end of the process you get the option to rename the item for 2x the cost of the disenchanting, where a sign gui would pop up asking you yes/no, then asking you to input the name.

The price would be calculated based on the items stats times what % range the identifications are at.

The base price would be the median of all possible damages to come from the weapon, or the total health and elemental defense on the armor.
For example if you had a weapons with neutral damage of 100-200, the median is 150.
But if you have a weapon with neutral damage of 100-200, and water damage 50-100, the median is 225. (150 neutral + 75 water). (Same with the elemental defenses on armor).
For different attack speed tiers modify using the 2/4/8 that they use for spell damage on faster/slower weapons.

Ids would act as modifiers by multiplying the base price by how far they are from their base value (0.7/1/1.3).
It wouldn't use the (0.7/1/1.3) though, it'd use (-0.3/0/+0.3), because then the price gets too high.
Basically, the higher the number on the id, the higher the price, this is where a lot of the cost is going to come from.
    The equation is -
    P = D x Σ((id1-idn)+1)
    - Where P is the price,
    D is the base price/damage,
And if you know anything about sums, Σ((id1-idn)+1) is the cumulative value of all the ids.
(If you didn't understand before, lets say id1 is a perfect id, at 1.3 times base, id1 isn't worth +1.3 here, it's worth +0.3).

As an example item, I'm going to use a perfect memento, with all stats with 3 stars.

Memento has 2850 health, 150 water defense, and -100 thunder defense, so far the equation looks like this.

    (2850 + 150 - 100) x Σ((id1-idn)+1) = P
    2900 x Σ(id1-idn)+1 = P

Memento has 5 positive ids, and one negative id, and for the purposes of this tutorial, I'm going to make the negative id as low as possible.
    Equation:

    2900 x ((0.3 + 0.3 + 0.3 + 0.3 + 0.3 - 0.3) + 1) = P
    2900 x (1.2 + 1) = P
    2900 x 2.2 = 6380
So it would cost 6380 emeralds to disenchant this item. (1Le 35Eb 44E).

"But wait, you subtracted one of those 0.3 on accident!"
No I didn't, you're not paying to get rid of good or bad things, you're paying to get rid of things, if the negative ids are lower, it's going to be -0.3, if they're higher, it's going to be +0.3.

The crafting NPC would work differently, it would receive the one base item, (or any item, to be explained later), and 5 infusion items to produce a new item, with 1 id from each infusion item's set, (and a possible negative id), and one damage/health/defense range attached to the level and tier of each item.

Upon receiving two of the same ids, the totals are simply added together.

More to be added later, got tired, will finish soontm

This idea is rather similar to that of the Craftables suggestion, hm? Just without any real use.

Not done yet, and no, this is more similar to my first crafting suggestion.

This is a simple sigma, i'm just too lazy to use all the +s, there's no other equation you need to solve this once since all the id %s are different.
