Does Poison On Weapons Stack With Armor And Accessories?

I was playing with a friend who got a poison weapon yesterday, and when I tossed him some poison accessories, he said the poison damage wasn't stacking. He is pretty new, so it's possible he wasn't sure how poison works, but I just want to check in case I decide to make a poison build, does it stack with poison on armor and accessories?

 

Yeah it does. I made a poison build on Wynndata to double check

 

If you have for example 100/3s poison on a weapon, 50/3s poison on a chestplate and 50/3s poison on a ring you would have a total of 200/3s poison.

It does stack in that way if that is what you meant.
