    I just want to know if loot bonus affects loot chests since i've been running around with high loot bonus and want to know if it actually affects loot chests. Thanks!

    If it says loot bonus, then you're getting better loot from loot chests and from monster drops. Basically anything that gives you loot.

    Like the other guy said it effects all forms of loot. So if you get those nice boots from that underwater quest from when you started out in like the 10s-20s I'd say keep them for a good while till you get gear that actually gives you better loot bonus {no I don't mean wear them constantly, i mean keep them on yea, and before you open up a chest throw them on open the chest, than take them off so you don't get murdered too much}

    Loot bonus changes how much you get, not how good it is.

    I told you how it actually works. It works by giving you more items not increasing how good the items are.
    It does not work by giving you better items.

    The question is whether or not lb affects chests, the consensus among large loot routers being that it does not.

    This goes for loot chests as well.

    according to extensive testing, it does not. You guys should check to see if the same formulas apply, and check the RNG equations and see if player loot bonus is factored in anywhere.

    If you compile proof of it not working then a bug report should probably be made.

    Will do, testing is not 100% done yet, we're actually still going for more data.

    @Pretzule sorry about the miss reading of your post, didn't notice you said how much loot. The fact that it has the ability to give you more loot from chests.... I can actually say it has given me more loot from chests compared to without the treasure finder boots. It possible though has to due with which chests you loot though maybe. Because I get more from chests in mini dungeons than I do from open world chests. Like the one inside the lake at detlas doesn't give me as much loot as the 3 chests inside the Mausoleum/Abandoned jail {no clue what it is really} near the savanna. Thing is though, it feels like the loot is actually better with the boots compared to without...

    I saw this thread while back and since the answers were divided, I wasn't sure what to think. So, I did my own loot runs with and without (even with negative loot bonus) loot bonus, and loot bonus does not affect the chests. One set had over 100% loot bonus, while other had none or negative.
    Regardless of the loot bonus, what I found in chests was very similar in quantity.

    If it was intended for the loot bonus to yield more items, then it's a bug. Can't report it as I have no recorded proof. IMO, considering how economy is inflated, I would leave it like it is and call it a feature.
