i would like to solo LI.
i wanted to get a alkatraz build and almost have it
but i kept on hearing that apoc is a better mithic to solo LI and overall
so i would like to know what you think
and if you have a apoc build or other solo LI build pls let me know ^^

Cheap or do you not mind: Super Ultra cheap (I'm rly poor atm)
How many hive items can I use?: One master token, feel free to use as many of the other hive thingys as you wish / is necessary

Due to the nerf of Black in the current patch, is Black still better than Slider in this build?

 

Not necessarily a nerf. You need to look at it from every perspective. The raw damage increased due to the drop in attack tier. This means you'll activate mana steal more often since you have a lower attack tier. Plus, the damage % are almost unchanged, only dropping 9% from potential max rolls on spell and thunder %. They hit fire a tiny bit harder, but still a 10% decrease on the max roll. Note that the changes to dam % were probably only done since the raw damage was increased. If they left the %s the same, Black would do far too much damage. Also, you'll actually be doing 'more' damage since you'll piece enemies ele defenses better. Lastly, it's only 1 more -mr. Nothing too crazy. You're supposed to use stealing for mana anyways.
