For FPS Games, I'd get Overwatch, Team Fortress 2, Battlefield 1, and Crossfire (It's like Counter Strike, but more game modes like Sheep Mode (not joking), and zombie mode series and it's completely free like TF2. I do recommend getting Counter Strike also, if you can purchase $15). I'm not sure about Paladins as people criticize the game for near-exact gameplay of Overwatch. And the other goes for Call of Duty: WWII as it seems enjoyable if you're going to play the campaign mode, but I would assume the multiplayer would not go as well as other multiplayer FPS servers (COD Kids, if you know what I mean (If they manage to play on their potato PCs)).

Any other games I suggest to get like GTA V, Witcher 3, Watch Dogs 2, and Playerunknown's Battleground (early access).

 

If you're into roguelike rpg games, I'd suggest Sunless Sea, a top down exploration game set in a massive, underground sea, which involves the following:
Giant crabs
Sentient Icebergs that try to kill you
Hyper massive and super complex story
Riding in boats and doing boaty stuff
Getting burnt in the sunlight
A m b i a n c e
Eldrich lore!
Submarines!
Giant Eyes!
Steampunk vibe!

You can also:
Find your dad
Be a pirate, explorer, and colony owner all in one
Visit places such as Fallen London (or the entire city of 17th century London, but underground)
Lose your mind
Eat your crew
Die

I finished Bioshock Infinite recently, while bandoning it shortly after release. The twists really blew my mind. I keep thinking about some story parts and the ending almost daily.
Really great experience imho
