Do Mages Need To Carry Potions Of Healing?

Currently level 32 Mage and wondering if it is actually useful for me to carry a potion or two with me.

 

Well, carry one or two. Heal will usually take care of your problems, but sometimes you just run out of mana.

 

It's always worth carrying one or two just in case. That said, even on other classes I only carry more than 4 or 5 if I'm going against a tough boss fight or ToA/Hive.

 

I usually carry 3 and one mana pot

...and a lot more when I'm trolling with lunar xD

 

When doing dungeons, health potions are really useful as a Mage when you're out of mana. I personally carry 4 potions with me at all times.

 

I learned that the healing spell will heal certain monsters especially in the dungeons so carry potions during boss fights.

 

I'm 99% sure this isn't a thing. Some mobs do have heal spell though, which also heals nearby mobs, and all mobs have a certain amount of natural regen - this doesn't show up on the health bar unless a mob is hit, so if you don't hit a mob for a while, it may appear to heal a lot the next time you hit it.
