[discord - Your Work] Starboard-like System

That's basically it. Simple and straight to the point.

If you don't understand, here's a drawn out version.

Basically, because the art in the #your_work section constantly drowns in comments when posted. It would be great if we could have a list of whats actually nice.

If implemented, every x (5 for example) number of x emoji (Star/heart emoji for example) would be pinned to the #your_work channel (No messages would ever be pinned there anyways).

This would be very easy to code, but if help is needed, I could always dm a dev the code needed! :)

This is a good idea, but more than 5 stars would have to be needed to ensure only quality content gets pinned. 40 or 50 stars would be more reasonable, but overall, good idea!

 

40 to 50 stars might be a bit much, but I'm sure memes of that sorts, or botted, a moderator could take care of that quickly! :)

(Maybe there could be a vote command to take down pins? Maybe moderators could have the perm to unpin/use an unpin command? Or there could be a reaction like :X: to remove the post? (maybe 3-5 stars = post takedown?)

 

Of course, this raises the problem of people abusing it. Perhaps if the amount of remove emojis exceeds the amount of pin emojis by a certain amount or percentage, it'll be unpinned?

 

Thats a great idea, but once again bots could get around that.

Thats the best idea we have, but we also have moderators who could take down posts, so that works.
