    @cicetil another request
    as always, if you dont feel like doing this, don't feel pressured to

    a guy meditating on a fragment of rock, in a large void like place with a bunch of other stuff(can be anything: swords, computers, other islands, etc.) swirling around

    sorry for not following the format, im in a bit of a rush
    i'll come back later to clean it up

    Looks amazing! You're pretty good at perspective, are you doing it by eye or calculations?

    Just by eye. When doing landscapes like this, it's best if you not think of it as a math problem. Just go with the flow until it looks just right.

    No problem. The format doesn't really matter. It's just to help me get a better picture of what I'm drawing. It's hard painting a request when all they say is something like "Make a dude running." or some similarly vague request.

    To start off, I would like to thank you; to answer your question: My older paintings were done using PaintDotNet and a mouse. (You can probably notice the difference in style/crispness in the linework). After I purchased a tablet, I started using a program called Krita. (Similar to Photoshop, but slower, and less options available.) I've used Krita for all my other artwork up until now, but I did just start using Photoshop, which I will post some artwork of soon.

    hmm that's cool, i have a question: Do you ever use effects (like blurs or hue changing) with your programs along with your art?

    Very rarely. On that painting, I didn't. (Although it does look like I did use blur on some of the rocks.) I have a very tedious way of painting. I pretty much free-style everything, and don't use line-art or layer masks, which leads me to repaint, and paint over things a lot. I am, however going to use those, and see how I do in Photoshop.

    Hmm cool, It's really cool how you do it all by hand. Might be a little more efficient to use effects. You should try and explore the effects in photoshop. For example, if you feel like one part of your painting is in the wrong spot or needs to be enlarged, you can quick select it or use a tool (forgot name) to drag pieces around and play with them
    Look forward to your work

    The first two paintings (lighthouse and island) were so realistic that I, for a second, thought they were photos.
    I got a bit nostalgic, because they reminded me of a long journey not long ago, which I enjoyed.

    Please, do some more real-life based artwork, and do tag me if you ever come about to doing them. Getting nostalgic gave me a great, warm feeling ;D

    I use a few features such as the lasso selection, but not nearly on the scale that I should. Although, now that I'm using photoshop, I'm going to try to use all the features to their full extent. I've been testing custom brushes and settings, to just get a feel for things. Then I'm going to start doing big projects. e.g Resuming my Wynncraft mobs, and more landscapes. Also, I might even start making speed paint videos.

    Thanks for the great feedback! That journey sounds like it was a lot of fun. Also, I will-once I get accustomed to Photoshop-start doing some big projects like that again. I'll make sure to let you know, when I do some. :)
