Assassin/Ninja Defensive Melee Build

So yea, heres a defensive melee assassin build (Made by JaydontheWarrior), So I cant give much reason behind the items because it is made by him, along with skill points but try to interperet for yourself, but I just want to show the items and stuff. But here are the things for the build:

Aries (Helmet)
Chest of Ineptitude (Chestplate)
Greeves of Veneer (Leggings)
Scorpio (Boots)
Tissuan's Honour (Ring)
Jester Ring (Ring) (Deciding a different ring later)
Jester Bracelet (Bracelet)
Clock Amulet (Necklace)
Grimtrap (Weapon)
Inferno (A more defensive weapon option)

So yea, thats the build without the skill points, it will deal around 2k melee dmg and you can deal more damage with powders as well. I mainly am posting this for suggestions and for other people to try out the build and see what they think. Again, all credit goes to jaydonthewarrior for making this build.

I do remember you saying memento, you originally said acid ring or some thing like that idk. I couldnt find whatever that is so i did concentration cuz mana regen.

There is no reason to use memento or concetrarion for a melee build
Also blue mask is a waste , aries could work better or shawl of gaea and further more i would say inferno is better for a defense melee build but grimtrap could also work well cuz of life steal

 

another bump, and taking kraby's criticism since I think it is relatively accurate looking back at it and I am still open to suggestions.

 

Replace Jester Ring #2 for Tisaun's Honour or Giant's Ring. I don't see why you need 3 jester items, because it would decrease melee damage and increase spell damage, which that is not needed.

 

ok, but I didnt use any necklaces, if its 2 jester rings and 1 bracelet, it still gets melee bonus, but i'll replace second jester ring with it.

 

I did the 2 rings and the bracelet, you'll see that it has the set bonus of 2 items, but when you look in your compass it shows that you have 300+ Spell Damage.

 

Why Scorpio? It lowers both earth and fire damage

 

Well um, you see *whispers*. OH! Uh... the um... alpaca gods um... er... made a deal with space bears with fire guns to cause the apocolypse and the uh... scorpio is the only one to save the day by putting it in my build? Yea... thats right....

 

Why not use Mantlewalkers? Or vinecrawlers?

Or a time ring? And have the Necklace be Golemus Core?

 

Slot+speed deductions and low hp+speed reduction?
The poison, speed, and hp are fairly nice with scorpio
Also using grim so if you don't use inferno the fire reduction doesn't matter and with a good pair of scorpios the reductions are very minor anyways
