    Hi all,

Have you ever wanted to know how much damage you have just taken from a mob in the world or has gregory hit you for your entire hit points without you knowing?

Why is it that effective hitpoints is the only sort of knowledge you have for damage calculations and defenses for your character?

Through simple implementation in the code, calculations for player damage and mob ability/attack damage can be visible to a player through a simple command /debug or /damagelog.

There are currently damage holograms which instead generate a lot of unneccessary clutter for your screen. Instead of this why not have a chat output that would be much for favourable in terms of gameplay and visibility as well as catering to the players that would prefer to see what damge sources they are dying from or being hit by.

The numbers are already there, it's a simple addition with exponential benefit.

This could be expanded if desired to include interchangability to see exactly how defensive stats are working rather than relying on third party mods or being hit a bunch of times.

    I eagerly await any responses!
