Tower Of Ascension Floors 51-60 Data File

Location: x -352, y ,z -388
Use: Grinding, Suffering horrifically at the evil design of the final boss of this floor set, cursing at the boss, etc.
Made From: Netherbrick, Purple wool, Purple stained glass, Red Stained Glass
Inhabitants: Despair Gazes, Nightmares, Dreadful Tortures, Spirits of Makai, Twisted Souls, Necronomicons, Devouring Wraiths, Bloodthirsty Wyverns, Grim Reapers, Alkevo
This is the penultimate set of floors for the Tower of Ascension, Floors 51-60.
This can be considered the floor from HELL, thought not as tough as the enemies on the final floor set.
Many enemies here are either frustrating or evil when it comes to the strength of their attacks.
It is something NO player should underestimate.
It also has what i consider to be the most ANNOYING BOSS IN WYNNCRAFT.
But more on that later.

Despair Gazes
These unflinching eyeballs lie on floor 51.
They never blink, and they wait for the right moment.
Actually, they barrage you with wither skulls almost nonstop.
It is said that those that stare into the eye invite death.
With their powerful ranged attack, this just might be the case!
Nightmares
These powerful steeds lie on the 52nd floor.
They are not tamable, but they do seem to try and drag players to ride them, right before stomping them to a pulp.
They have the ability to teleport players to them, as well as a brutal charge attack.
Nightmares have earned their name.
I doubt it is possible to tame one, but i do know a mod who may have the darkness possible to do so...
Dreadful Tortures
These powerful demons lie on the floor of 53.
Their axes are capable of cutting many down to size.
In addition, they can use the slowdown spell, making them a nightmare for close range players.
Thankfully, I have little issue with them as a archer.
But they can still do some serious damage to me.

Spirits of Makai
These blaze spirits are the eternal guardians of the 54th floor.
Alone, they are dangerous.
As a group, these powerful flame throwers are brutal.
They fire massive fireballs and are known to burn the corpses of their enemies.
Just kidding, but they should still be dealt with cautiously. Twisted Souls
Poor souls lie in wait on the 55th floor.
It seems that these creatures are souls, twisted and tortured until their minds utterly fractured.
Now, they strike and kill all who enter their floor.
Perhaps it is all they know to do now...
Necronomicons
These infamous books lie on the floor of 56.
Within their pages likely lies dark secrets and rituals for summoning creatures beyond mortal understanding.
For now though, they are just a Homage to H.P. Lovecraft and his work.
They also have a spell, but i am unsure what it does.
I would be quite curious if these books became readable however...
Devouring Wraiths
These dark demons lie on the 57th floor.
They chase their prey, before dragging it into the shadows, or beating it up.
I am not sure which.
Regardless, these enemies can weaken you with their spells, so you do less damage to them.
Do not stay to close when they use it!
Bloodthirsty Wyverns
These little dragons lie on the 58th floor.
Thankfully, they dont have spells.
What they do have is SPEED.
These guys move extremely fast, and due to their small size, can be hard to hit.
In addition, they hit hard as well, so be very careful!

Grim Reapers
These imitations of death lie before the boss, on floor 59.
While mere copies of the real thing, they are still very dangerous.
Thankfully, only 2 spawn on this floor at any given time.
They have a VERY powerful multihit spell, so dont stay close when they use it!
Otherwise, they are nothing compared to Death itself.

Alkevo
This boss....THIS %*#@#@$ BOSS!
I HATE this boss with a burning passion that could make the sun sweat!
It is a boss i hate to fight under most circumstances for 1 simple reason.
When this boss gets low on health, it blows itself up AND RE-SPAWNS WITHOUT DROPPING ITS TOKEN.
That means killing this boss solo is either impossible or very unlikely.
AND NO, i dont want to hear about how you "killed it on your own" in the comments.
Personally, this boss feels like a cheap trick.
Thankfully, i had two very helpful players to assist me, @Novastar66 and @mizzkissy .
I am very grateful to their assistance against such a aggravating boss.
...Phew, it feels good to get that anger against this boss out of my system.

yo mular5 alil tip for the boss if u ever wanna do it again wen he does his uk charge thing then to blow up..... before he does run to the other side across from him just out of his range and that should stop the blowing up and u can continue killing him @Novastar66 and @Mular5

The Bloodthirsty Wyverns use Heavy Charge.

Alkevo doesn't just blow up when it feels like; it has a long spell timer on its Self-Destruct; specifically, 108-132 seconds, which puts the boss on a functional time-limit. If it is consistently blowing up at low health, then you need more firepower or are getting very very bad luck. He -is- the boss of the Lv 90 floor and you're using a Lv 70 weapon on him, to be totally fair.

Yes, but unless Alkevo was changed since Gavel came out, it was designed to be taken down by players lvl 70-75 since that used to be the level cap.

 

It was designed to be taken out by a -party- of Lv 75's.
