Daily Happenings & Ama.

Friday, December 13th.
9:00 I went to teach the little kiddos. A few kids from my band class were there, singing. After, we went through their Christmas songs. I conducted for a couple of them.
10:30 Careers was boring. I had to do a project on financial terms.
12:30 In socials I didn’t really do much. My friend was upset for some reason, so we all took care of her.
2:00 In band we played through our jazz and concert band songs.

 

Saturday, December 14th.
4:30 I went to my friend’s house for her annual Christmas party. We decorated cookies.
6:00 My chronic illness struck again and it hurt too bad to stay in one place. I didn’t eat. After the worst was over, I cuddled with my friend and the big dog.
9:40 One of my friends had to leave, so there were only two of us sleeping over.

 

This seems really hehe to me...

 

Sunday, December 15th.
4:30 I woke up and got ready. I played a game on my phone for a while waiting for everyone else to wake up.
7:00 I fell back asleep.
8:30 One of the dogs was whining in the next room so I woke up. We all woke up around the same time. We had breakfast upstairs. I tried out the new tea and the new mug my friend got me. It was really good. I had the rest of my cookies for breakfast.
11:10 I went home. We stopped at the hardware store for a few minutes.
5:05 We went to get gas before driving to town for dinner with my family. Nobody wanted to hear what I had to say, and I got really bad heartburn from the food.

 

Monday, December 16th.
8:30 I went to math. I did my assignment all in one go, then we talked about exams.
12:30 In art I worked on my 3D map. I finished with the glue, then started the underpainting. Puff the bearded dragon came to visit.
3:15 I walked home with my friend. We talked about guitars and bass ukuleles.
6:40 The teacher sent us to the drama room to warm up. My friends showed and we listened to the youngsters backstage. Our favourite percussionist did good. We did pretty bad in jazz because we were missing a ton of people. After, we went to the dressing room and goofed around.

 

Tuesday, December 17th.
9:00 In socials we didn’t take any notes. We just talked about war.
10:20 In band we practiced in the theatre. We listened to the nines, combined with them, then played for them.
12:30 I went to careers. We did budgeting. I finished it, then went to the foyer to work on art.
3:20 I walked to my friend’s house. We started planning the painting for her jean jacket.
4:30 A friend left. There were three of us after she had to go. We worked on teaching my friend’s dog a new trick. She also taught me how to read tabs.
6:50 Her mom gave us a ride to school. We found a little square piece of gripped plywood with four wheels on it in the drama room. We pushed each other around on it. We played after the nines. Hardly half of our band showed, due to an accident. Most of my family wasn’t there too.

I get out of bed at 4:30 when I’m sleeping on the couch and the blanket smells like dog. But I guess it’s 5:45 now, so I don’t know. I like getting up early.

Wednesday, December 18th.
8:20 I delivered cookies to three of my neighbours. The first house I went to had an extremely icy driveway, and their little daughter watched me almost fall. I stumbled on a crack in the third house’s stairs. On the bridge I almost fell again. I met up with my friend and we walked to school.
9:00 I aced my test. My grade went up as well. We worked on the new chapter afterwards.
11:50 My friend had intended on giving our friend her present, but she wasn’t upstairs when we were there. Our other friend had gone out with someone else, as of the past week or so.
12:30 In art I worked on painting the edges of cardboard. It was more laborious than I had previously thought. The annoying girl was not only transphobic, but racist as well. I drowned her out behind Queen, Bowie, and Elton John.
3:20 I walked home with my friend.

 

Thursday, December 19th.
8:25 I got a ride to school from my granddad. I went up to socials. The teacher was playing Christmas jazz, so I buried it in classic rock.
9:00 We spoke about Trump’s impeachment, then spoke more about the war. After war talk, he decided we could make some cards. I decided on a “going away” card for my friend.
10:30 We watched Rise of the Guardians in band. My friend and I found some twizzlers in her bag, which were extremely stale.
12:30 I played ping pong with my friends. After break we went and danced with the grade 7s and 8s. They were adorable. One of my friend’s little flutes made her a Christmas card and a bracelet. It was adorable.
3:20 I walked to my friend’s house. We worked on a card for the music teacher. We added another coat of paint to her jean jacket, then started watching Rocket Man. We had grilled ham and cheese.
7:30 It was snowing really hard when my mom came to get me. We were sliding all over the place on the way home.

 

Friday, December 20th.
8:25 I couldn’t find my binder anywhere, so I used my socials one for math. I got everyone else to sign the card.
9:00 In math I finished every worksheet. My friend gave me a card, as well as a little dreamcatcher. I thanked her. At break we had a locker clean out, which I took as an opportunity to have a longer break. I played crazy 8s with my friends in careers.
11:50 The band room was locked, so we ate in the foyer. I turned my earbuds up as far as they would go to drown out the Christmas music. We put the card in the teacher’s mailbox
12:30 In art I finished a page in my sketchbook. I ignored the transphobe.
2:00 We went to the gym for the last day of school celebration assembly. It was boring, so we played crazy 8s again. Two of my friends went down to line dance, but I didn’t because I didn’t want to risk being on the school news coverage.
3:20 I walked home with my friend. The ground was extremely slippery after it had rained and snowed in intervals all day.
7:20 I waxed my skis.

 

Saturday, December 21st.
I spent the day cleaning my room and working on Christmas gifts.

Sunday, December 22nd.
10:00 I went to my friend’s house. She gave me some of the necklaces that her mom couldn’t sell. I picked charms for them, with a forest theme. We finished Rocket Man and worked on our friend’s going away card. I edited the poem I had come up with for the card. The dog decided to try to eat my little ball of navy embroidery floss. I also finished the gift for my dad. Her dog decided he was scared of his own shadow. When her brother came down for grilled cheese, he dropped a bun on the floor and the dog engulfed it.
3:30 I went home. I didn’t realize her phone was in my pocket. We drove back to give it back to her. We both died laughing at the door.
I spent the rest of the day working on gifts and relaxing.

 

Monday, December 23rd.
9:45 My dad and I geared up to go skiing. We turned around twice because he kept thinking he forgot things. It was pretty foggy up at the hill, and the holidays called for heaps of tourists. It was good up top, though. I saw the tops of the clouds, with massive mountains as a backdrop.
2:30 We went back down the hill. We went to the deli, where I saw my math teacher. I spoke with him, then he talked with my dad. My dad and I went to the bakery next door for an eclair.
7:00 We decorated the Christmas tree. I made hot chocolate. We used the decorative box it came in as the tree topper because we couldn’t find the usual one.

 

Tuesday, December 24th.
I spent the day working on presents. I took care of quite a few things around the house.
5:50 I went to my auntie’s for a Christmas Eve get together. My brother wasn’t there so I generally felt quite disconnected from everyone else, as they didn’t really care what I thought or had to say. I did some training with their cats. I had the lyric “look at those cavemen go” stuck in my head. It fit right for the situation.
9:00 We made it home.

 

Wednesday, December 25th.
8:00 We woke up and did family presents.
11:00 My nana gave me a Beatles album. The first side went well, but the record player was inexplicably slowing down when I switched the sides.
2:00 Everyone left, I had a nap between events. I caught wind that my great great aunt had passed away earlier in the day.
6:00 We went to my dad’s side. We had dinner and presents, before doing the gift exchange game. I got 96 tea bags.
9:50 We went home and hit the hay.
11:45 I was trying to fall asleep, and the cat wouldn’t stop going on my pillows. I kept moving her off. She attacked me with teeth and all. I bled. I was upset with her so I didn’t let her back in my room.

 

She was just trying to be with you :(

 

I know. She’s welcome on my bed, but I’d rather have my pillows clean. (She’s furry, of course, and she is getting quite old so she doesn’t clean her feet as often.)
