Wednesday, October 23rd.
8:00 My granddad gave me a ride to school.
9:00 I went to math. One of the careers teachers stopped by and I signed up for scorekeeping volleyball.
11:50 I ate lunch with my friends. Two trumpets who I despised were playing and failing (mostly failing) at easy songs. I mocked their failed high notes. They couldn’t hear us, so no harm done.
12:30 We had an assembly. It was boring, so I just listened to music the whole time. The kids behind me wouldn’t stop yelling profanities.
2:00 I went to art. I finished painting my project and put it on the drying rack. I worked on my inktober prompt.
3:15 My friend gave me a nice hug. Her hands were cold. The school was probably trying to save money on the heating bill. I walked home quite quickly.
3:30 I made the bed, then got on the phone with my dad. We had a nice conversation.
4:00 I watched my true crime show, then worked on my inktober prompt. I couldn’t do my work for the socials project because I forgot an important paper at school.

 

Thursday, October 24th.
8:00 I went to school and worked on the project. The washroom smelled like cigarette smoke.
9:00 We started the politics unit in socials.
10:30 We had a catastrophe in band because none of the non-jazz kids knew how to play the jazz songs. We got our spirits back up by playing polar.
11:50 I played crazy 8s with my friends.
12:30 I taught the youngsters in the ensemble. It was quite boring because I couldn’t teach them one on one.
2:00 I went to careers. I kept trying to find the counselor, but he must have been teaching somewhere else.
3:15 I hauled my instrument home. I fell asleep watching my true crime show.
6:00 My brother and his girlfriend came for dinner. We had spag.

 

Friday, October 25th.
9:45 I came out as non-binary to my best friend. It went well.
1:00 A tree fell in the back yard, and another fell in the neighbour’s yard as well.

 

Ice Bear is glad it went well.

 

Saturday, October 26th.
10:00 I cleaned the house.
3:00 I went to scorekeep for volleyball. They had more than enough people so I left shortly after I arrived. When I got home my brother, his girlfriend and his friend were over working on a car.
4:00 I worked on socials.
9:00 I read for an hour before bed.

Sunday, October 27th.
6:00 I got up, made some tea, then finished my book.
9:30 I went with my dad to have waffles at my Nana’s. I saw my two cousins while I was there as well.
11:00 My granddad and I went to the industrial park looking for palettes. We found some good ones.
11:40 I took measurements for my palettes.

 

Monday, October 28th.
8:10 I went to the airport to drop my mom off.
9:00 I went to art. We had a sub. I did the finishing touches on my piece, my inktober prompt, then we had DEAR. I just read the whole class, instead of the 20 minutes that were allotted. I grilled the (not so cute) girl on some of the questionable things she had said, and it turned out she was a racist. The internet wasn’t working at all.
11:50 I went to the library and picked a cute book out for my friend. She and my other friend had to study, so I didn’t eat with them.
12:30 I went to math. We did review for the test. The teacher pointed out the router was missing, and we looked everywhere for it. Turns out it was just moved to be on the ceiling.
3:15 I was supposed to go to my friend’s house, but she forgot and started walking without me. I caught up to her and we went to her house. Phil the Fat Cat wasn’t in the window. We talked, had tea, and started making gifts for our two other friends. I left her a reminder on her letter board to not forget about her Halloween costume.
5:10 Her mom drove me home and I worked on the gift some more.
6:00 I got a ride to my auntie and uncles, where I had dinner with them, my two cousins, and my grandparents. My little cousin decided to scribble all over my precalc work. After dinner the topic of being trans came up, but they didn’t know about me. They were rude, so I decided to leave.
8:00 I washed the dishes and put the birds to sleep.

 

Tuesday, October 29th.
6:30 I woke the birds up and got ready for school. After, I made my lunch.
8:00 I had trouble cracking the cinnamon bun tube open, so when I finally did it, two were stuck together. They were lopsided, so I just left them together. My friend showed up and we made tea. The wonky cinnamon bun didn’t cook well, so I threw it away.
8:30 We walked to school. It was below freezing and we were very cold. We were almost late for school.
9:00 My friend and I taught the youngsters in band. We taught them some new Christmas songs.
10:20 I went to careers briefly, and the teacher said I could attend PE with my friends. The PE teacher made me trek back across the school for a note. When I came back the PE teacher tried to sort us between boys and girls, so I left and went upstairs in the band room.
12:30 I went to socials. We did more notes on government.
2:00 In band we partnered up and practiced for our jazz playing test. My friend and I went to the foyer to practice. Near the end, the teacher volunpicked me to do the test twice because a clarinet didn’t have a partner.
3:15 My mug fell out of my locker and crashed onto the floor. I was bummed because it was a handmade antique. I walked home and watched my show.
7:00 I finished my math assignment then did my inktober prompt.

 

Wednesday, October 30th.
9:00 I went to art. I finished the gift and my inktober prompt, then complained about the playing test with the other band kids. A bird came to visit. It was an African Grey
10:10 The school tried to have an earthquake drill, but they messed it up so nobody actually went under a desk.
11:50 We played crazy 8s again and I was a big loser.
12:30 We had an assembly with a comedian who was also a ventriloquist. Due to the unfortunate seating and inability to talk I did not have a good time.
2:00 I went to math and had a test. I thought I did better than I actually did.
3:15 My two friends came home with me. We borrowed the dog from next door and played with her for a little while. After, we had iced tea, Oreo cookies, and my friend painted my nails for Halloween. My other friend played some music on my dad’s guitar.
6:30 My brother came over and we had fettuccine alfredo.
7:57 I played crazy 8s with my friends again over the phone. After we stopped playing I stayed on the phone with a friend and we spoke about books.

As in yesterday (Oct the 31st)? I went home after spending some time with friends.

Thursday, October 31st.
7:30 I made croissants with chocolate chips in them. After, I went to my friends house, where she did my hair and freckles. We walked to the bus stop. We were the last ones on so it was a quick ride to school. Some random kid got a nose bleed on the bus. It made me wonder what he was watching.
8:47 We went to the band room to drop off our stuff. The teacher volunpicked me and my three buddies for a quartet during the Christmas concert. We checked in with our regular teachers before teaching the youngsters. I had less patience for the annoying girl and really told her to sit down. I still didn’t kick anyone out. My favourite kid could already get up to a C#.
10:30 I went to careers. I listened to the two groups debate on vaping. The teacher seemed to have assigned the people who vape to the antivape side, and the nonvapers to the provape side. After, I had to answer questions and state what my position was and why.
12:30 I went to socials. We continued with boring government stuff.
2:00 We had a playing test for jazz. I had to have a retest because I got the right rhythms, the right notes, but I didn’t hit it hard enough. I thought the teacher had expectations that were not realistic for me because I was helping so much with the kiddos.
3:15 I left without my buddies and stopped to wait for them. I did it to get back at the friend who had done it to me earlier. When we got to her house we watched Zootopia, had snacks, and cuddled. After, my friend made me a new picture for the back of my phone. We talked about music and we did some singing.
8:00 We went down to wait for the food to cook, so we played crazy 8s. We bet on it and I lost twice. We went back up and watched another movie before we had to go. My dad was late because he passed out on the couch.

 

Friday, November 1st.
9:00 In art I accepted critique from the teacher, then handed in my project.
12:30 My friend and I watched volleyball instead of doing math. I wrote her a funny poem.
2:00 I took notes for math then left for home because a family friend brought kittens. There were five, but my favourite were two silver tabbies that I named Yin and Yang, due to the way the likes to cuddle each other.

 

Saturday, November 2nd.
2:30 I went on a hike. The log that had fallen was still there, but the bark had fallen off. I carried some bark home for a project. When I got home I cleaned the bark, then cut my palettes to size.
5:30 I went to watch my cousin play hockey. On the way in I bumped into my aunt and uncle from the other side of the family. They were watching my two twin cousins, but I didn’t stick around.

 

Sunday, November 3rd.
I didn’t do anything due to being sick.

Monday, November 4th.
8:25 My friend and I got to school early so we could listen to Elton John on the social studies teacher’s record player. When class started, we had to play a “game” that involved running, I opted out. After, we discussed left wing and right wing politics.
10:20 I went to band. Someone puked, so the smell was unbearable. I found out who puked, and it was karma because she was a jerk. We went through our lineup for Remembrance Day, then worked on a different song.
11:50 We went back to socials because of the smell in the band room. We took bets on crazy 8s. I got to pick backgrounds for my two other friends.
12:30 I taught the youngsters. We paired up with my friend who was teaching the flutes. We played Jingle Bells, Jolly Old St. Nick, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. My friend and I showed off a little bit. I couldn’t help but laugh at one of her flutes, who would breathe after every note. One of my trumpets was hopeless. He was playing way too low, and somehow didn’t notice, even though we had been working on exercises for weeks. I was stern with the annoying girl because she was irritating. I still didn’t kick anyone out.
2:00 I went to careers and sat there doing nothing. My grade was at a 97%.
