Daily Happenings & Ama.

Friday, September 13th.
6:40 I woke up. George almost stepped up again, but he wasn’t quite comfortable so I didn’t force him.
8:15 My dad drove me to school. I went to math early and worked on my sketchbook.
9:00 Precalc was easy. After a while I got all mathed out and decided to work on my sketchbook.
12:30 I went to art. The cute girl was sick again. I finished the next step on my boring project.
3:30 I passed my dad on his way to work. We stopped to chat, then I continued home. I tried to encourage George to step up using millet. He still didn’t want to.
4:10 George wouldn’t stop sqwaking as I was watching my true crime show.
6:35 I listened to music with George and worked on covering up some marker bleed through in my sketchbook.
7:30 My brother and his girlfriend visited to see George. I continued with art after they left.

 

Saturday, September 14th.
7:00 George and I woke up at the same time.
8:00 I made a tea and continued work on covering up the marker bleed through.
11:55 George had a mist shower. He enjoyed it.
1:00 I tidied up and vacuumed.
1:30 I started a new page in my sketchbook
5:10 I cleaned George’s cage.
7:30 I started painting the cover of my sketchbook. After, I put George to bed and made some tea.

 

Sunday, September 15th.
10:00 I added another coat to my sketchbook.
10:30 Chatted on discord for a while.
2:07 George pooped in his food. I added another coat of paint to my sketchbook.
5:30 I worked on the sketchbook, finishing the paint on the cover. I used some of the same paint inside.
7:30 Noodles and bacon for dinner.
8:20 I put a black vinyl smiley face on the cover of my sketchbook. I worked on social studies afterwards. Then, I scraped the paint off of the rings of my sketchbook, as it was making it more difficult to flip pages.

 

Monday, September 16th.
7:00 Woke George up.
8:20 Got a ride from my granddad. I returned the tenor sax I had borrowed to the band room.
9:00 I went to careers. Our seating plan called for new seats. During the class a kid had made fun of my illness and had used homophobic language. After class I asked to not be put around him in the future.
11:50 My leftovers made me feel nauseous, so I didn’t eat.
12:30 I went to socials.
2:00 I went to band. We talked about the band trip and if we wanted to accept the invitation to nationals or not, then we did some sight reading. We ended with our new song. The teacher gave me jazz music in advance. He said he didn’t know what day jazz was to be on.
3:25 I went home and watched my true crime show.
6:20 I made a new bracelet in the colours of a pride flag.

 

Tuesday, September 17th.
6:00 I woke up and got ready.
8:00 My granddad gave me a ride. We spoke about how sports are glorified beyond what is deserved and how band and music dwells in the shadow of sports.
8:35 I went to art. I sat with the cute girl and we conversed. She borrowed my pencil and we got along well. I finished the required steps for my project, then I worked on a sketchbook page while keeping up with the conversation.
11:30 We went to the art gallery for the last few minutes of art. The girl had gotten graphite all over her face, elbows, and hands. I waited for her to clean up then we left together. We viewed the exhibits then got drinks together. I got vanilla steamed milk and she got a hot chocolate. I sat at lunch with my friend and ended up spilling my steamed milk all over myself. I forgot to bring food to school. My careers teacher complimented me by saying I was one of the best non-professional artists she’d seen.
12:30 I went to precalc. During the end, my friend’s sister and her boyfriend showed up. They left before the bell to see the band teacher.
3:15 I walked home in the rain. I watched my true crime show.

 

Wednesday, September 18th.
6:00 Woke up and got ready for the day. I had pineapple and cottage cheese for breakfast.
8:30 The careers teacher let me in. I waited for class to start. Class was boringly easy. I spent over half of the class working in my sketchbook.
12:30 Socials was boring. We had community building activities.
1:50 In band we talked about the band trip and where we might go. I voted for Seattle. After, we sight read and played our song. When band ended I briefly spoke to the cute girl. She had to catch the bus so we didn’t speak for long.
3:15 I walked home in the rain again.
5:00 I accidentally fell asleep after my show.
6:40 I finished math.
8:00 I sprayed fixative on a few pages with graphite. After, I made tea.

 

Thursday, September 19th.
7:30 I woke up late, but made it to school early still. I made tea.
8:20 I bought a tea, then sat with friends waiting for the art room to open. In art I sat with the cute girl. I tested the waters by letting her discover that my audiobook was about gay people. She seemed disgruntled by it, so my high hopes weren’t so high anymore. I took the day off in art and just worked in my sketchbook instead of working on the project. I started a new map.
11:30 I went to math. An earwig was on the sleeve of my jean jacket. I panicked and used my pencil to flick it to the ground. I had no idea where it went so I was paranoid for the rest of the class.
1:30 I went home. Skies were clear.
4:00 I watched my true crime show and almost fell asleep again.

 

Friday, September 20th.
6:00 Woke up and got ready for the day. When I put music on, George sang along.
8:30 I went to careers. We started our unit project. Near the end, we went on a nature walk.
12:30 I went to social studies. My friend and I were bored, so we started flicking a piece of popcorn at each other. We started a mapping project, but it was extremely boring because it seemed as though we do the same project every year.
2:00 I went to band. The teacher gave us five new jazz songs, and we set the day for jazz rehearsals to Thursdays. I still waved at the girl. After we got new music, we went and practiced outside. I brought clips so my sheet music wouldn’t fly away in the wind.
3:20 I hauled my instrument home. On the way, some kids were shouting profanities out from under the bridge. Turns out it was someone I had known since kindergarten.

 

Saturday, September 21st.
2:30 I made tea and introduced the bird and cat. They didn’t seem to care about each other.
10:20 Remade my bracelet.
I didn’t do much due to feeling sick.

 

Sunday, September 22nd.
7:00 I woke up with George.
9:00 Made two more bracelets. They turned out okay, a bit too large for me.
11:00 I went to a friend’s house. We talked, then had lunch and finished up by playing scrabble. She and I both won once.
5:40 I let George out of his cage. He was not cooperative in going back in.
7:40 I finally decided to grab George. He bit me hard twice. It was almost bedtime for him.
10:30 I meditated before bed.

 

Monday, September 23rd.
6:00 Woke up and got ready for the day.
9:00 I went to math. My friend and I browsed webcomics for the last bit of class.
10:45 Most of the school went to do the Terry Fox run, but I went to the library due to my medical conditions. The cute girl stopped me on my way to ask if I was going with anyone. It was a shame to turn her down. At the library I got hollered at by the librarian for not running, but I stayed anyway. I finished a page of questions, then saved the rest for later. I continued work on my sketchbook.
11:30 I finished the map and started the next page.
11:50 I went to art for lunch with my friend. I finished an image of some memorable geese I saw in Vancouver. I moved to a different spot for class. The cute girl sat with me and I let her borrow my pipette and pencil. Her friend didn’t show up, so it was just me and her at the table. I did a watercolour painting for the project, then I worked in my sketchbook. I started a new drawing of a 1930’s car that was overgrown and inhabited by a cat and her kittens. The teacher told me my style was very illustrative, and that I should consider printmaking.
3:15 I briefly spoke with a friend before heading home. For a majority of the trip I was lumped in with 12-year-olds. The street was busy when I turned onto it. As per usual, the neighbour’s pitbull and rottweiler tried to maul me through their living room window. Later down the street, a shih tzu tried to yap my face off as well. At home, I watched my true crime show.
5:40 I cleaned and rearranged George’s cage.
8:25 I finished my drawing up.

 

Tuesday, September 24th.
6:00 Woke up and got ready for the day. I grabbed a bag of popcorn from the pantry.
8:40 I went to socials early with my friends. It ended up being boring.
10:00 We had a fire drill. It was nice out, so it wasn’t too bad.
10:30 I went to band. We practiced a new song, and I discovered I could go higher than I did the previous year. I pointed the cute girl out to my friend.
11:50 I sat upstairs in the band room with my friend. After a while some other friends got there.
12:30 I went to careers. I finished the final project for the unit. My treble clef pin fell off of my backpack and ended up stabbing into my leg, but I didn’t bleed.
2:00 I went to the library and studied for the unit test. After, I drew and coloured a blimp. Some of the youngsters were having an introduction to the library, so it was quite loud, but not as obnoxious as careers. I took out a new book while I was there.
3:20 Went home and watched my true crime show.

 

Wednesday, September 25th.
7:00 I wished both my mom and my dad good days at work. I took care of George and got ready for the day. My granddad came to pick me up.
8:12 I got to school and waited for my precalc teacher to let me in. I sat with my friend when class started. The teacher called me up and told me my grade in the class was not actually 100%, but 99.5%.
11:50 I went to eat in art with my friend.
12:30 Art started. I spent my time doing a complimentary painting to the one I did the previous day.
3:15 I went home and watched my show.
5:40 I practiced my instrument for a few minutes.

 

Thursday, September 26th.
7:00 Woke up sick and barely got ready for school.
9:00 I went to socials and suffered through.
10:10 We had a lockdown drill that was very anticlimactic.
10:40 I went home because of my cold. 6:30 I tried making another bracelet, but I got annoyed so I ended up throwing it away.
8:00 I did some reading before bed.

 

Friday, September 27th.
I didn’t do anything due to being so sick.

 

Saturday, September 28th.
8:35 I had a minor nosebleed.

Monday, September 30th.
8:25 I went to school and waited for the bell to ring in the library.
9:00 I went to careers and caught up. There were youngsters vaping in the first washroom I went to, then there was a girl having a midlife crisis in the second washroom I tried to use.
11:35 Went back to the library and took my unit test. I was confident in my answers.
12:30I went to social studies and was not on task because we were still working on the boring map.
2:00 Band was interesting. We got a form for the band trip, then worked on various songs. Many people were absent, including the cute girl.
3:15 I walked home with my friend. I saw a cute cat on the street again, then found a four leaf clover in my yard. I put the clover in between a few books.

 

Tuesday, October 1st.
9:00 I stayed home from school due to being sick. I did the daily drawing for inktober.

 

Wednesday, October 2nd.
8:00 I walked to school.
9:00 In careers I made a new resume, then spent some time finishing my map for socials. A dead fly ended up on the table, so I flicked it at a popular girl. Right before break, we had a fire drill. My friends had been teaching the youngsters so they had their instruments. They played some songs we had memorized.
11:50 At lunch, we went upstairs in the band room. One of my friends found my treble clef pin that had fallen off of my backpack.
12:30 In socials we spoke about sustainability. My friends and I ended up playing the scribble game until we went on a walk around the school.
2:00 In band we played some jazz music. After, my friend and I were chatting on the way to my locker and I bumped into the cute girl. I apologized and ran away. My friend and I walked home together. I saw the cat again and she let me pet her.
4:00 I watched my true crime show.
5:00 I had a nap. Woke up with a migraine.
6:30 My brother came to have fettuccine alfredo. I stayed in my room suffering with a migraine until I got hungry enough to come out.
8:15 I did my inktober prompt.
