She snickers.
"Interesting. Are you too embarrassed to say that she's your mom or something?"

 

"If my mom was a being from another plane of existence, I'd be there, soon as possible."

 

"Oh, well. Sorry. I don't really know my parents too well."
She adjusts her cap.

 

"It's alright. Cassy's sorta like a mom. Less... present, but one hell of a present giver."
I show off my grimoire.

 

"That's cute. So is she like watching you all the time or something?"
She looks around the room.

 

"Cassy!"
I yell out into the building, not expecting an answer.

 

She interrupts in a serious tone.
“You’re mad! Don’t call to her.”

"Yeah. This is definitely a core. Looking at it, it seems to have been removed carefully from its wearer, or it wasn't used at all. I haven't worked with it myself, but it seems quite powerful. Oh, and magical. It's also magical."

 

"Chill out, I'm not summoning a demon or something. But I think that answers your question."

"...Not sure why it was there, then."

 

"Nope. It was probably used and someone cut it out. Why they left it, I don't know."

 

“I’d rather not have that happen.. anyways.”

“Sorry I didn’t help you guys out last night, by the way. I didn’t know what to do.”

 

"Don't worry. I didn't do much either."

She puts the core into her pouch.(Totally giving Brom a mind soon.)
"Atleast you're trying."

 

“Do you know how to fight?”

 

She hesitates to answer:
“Not really.”

“An extra pair of eyes isn’t terrible, I guess.”

 

"We can always give you a gun. You can handle those, right?"

 

"That's... what did you do when all the A.R.M.A. members were around? You didn't just sit in here, right?"

 

"Some, yes."

"I was a scout for the most part. I hardly ever fought and hope to not have to."

 

"Do you have a gun?"

 

"Say, what did A.R.M.A. even do? Like, on a regular basis."

 

"Nope. Did the vaults have anything in them?"

"We went on missions whenever problems came up involving the Eyes. We weren't even close to finding out who or what is behind this all before it all came crashing down."
