In RAW, I can’t do this, but I’m wondering if it would be ok.

As an action, you can set a reaction to do an action. As a bonus action, can I set a reaction to do a bonus action?

 

Not my campaign, but I'd rule you can set a bonus action as a reaction by using an action.

why's there a GIANT EYE GOLEM

 

The flames engulf the golem, but they don't kill it. It seems the extra light has attracted more spectators, and some willing to fight you themselves. Two large bird-like monstrosities swoop down from the buildings along the street, screeching as they descend.
One of them spirals down and attempts to bite you but misses before injecting disgusting liquid the color of crimson into you. It remains in flight above you. Take 10 piercing damage and make a CON save.

@Enhanced_Human The second bird-thing launches itself from another roof and latches onto you, biting and scratching you violently. 13 piercing damage and 7 slashing damage.

The Eye golem laughs with a mechanical cry.

As for the bonus action, I think it's fair.

If I’m allowed to use my bonus action to set a bonus action reaction, I was gonna say “If I am about to get attacked, I pull out my phone and start blasting For Baltimore by All Time Low (aka activate my Bladesong)”

I didn’t want to turn it on unless I had to. But, I get attacked anyway. It increases my AC to 19. Does the bird still fluid object me?

CON save: 10

I’m not going to edit my HP, in case my bladesong makes that piercing attack miss

 

The piercing fluid attack doesn't get through your AC, so you're safe.

 

I’m kinda curious about the stat block you are using. Will you show Ian after? Or if it’s a reoccurring enemy, I can understand not wanting to

Most constructs are immune to psychic damage. Technically, the eye has a Frost Giant statblock, but it should still have the construct type.

He’s mainly melee, but he does have ranged options if needed. Also, yes, I am a kensei monk.

 

Got it. I'm going to guess at least one of your three weapons is ranged.

I spend 3 psi to cast Command to Strike on Rikane. You can use your reaction to make the attack action on the eye. This includes Extra Attack, and I think you can also use Deft Strike.

I'll let Rikane make his action before continuing.

I'll aim my pistol at the eye and start shooting.

Attack 1: 20+8= I assume I hit.
Damage: 5+6+1+3+4=19 (Spent 1 ki point for deft strike)
Attack 2: 13+8=21
Damage: 5+4=9

Total Damage: 28

Wait, was that a NAT 20? If so, you double the damage dice.

 

That's why there were 5 values (normal damage, deft strike, the crits for each of those, and ability mod).

Nah, he's a bit dense, as I mentioned before. Besides, following orders was basically second nature to him as a former soldier/guard.

 

The Eye golem's screen cracks open as your bullet pierces through the middle of its head. It remains upright despite all the damage visible on its surface.

As for the bird-things:
The one on Tony: 50 ft. up
The one attacking Billy-Will: 10 ft. up
