Brom, with Toki on top, walks closer to the masked man and the human.
"Excuse me. You two?"

“A’ight. Let’s get go-”
I cut myself off as the others approach.

“Yeah?”

 

She shows you the badge on her left shoulder.
"Are you two familiar with this?"

 

“Yeah. Quick debrief: we’re searching for the pink-haired girl. I saw her just a bit ago, and I’m trying to hurry before she might get inside a building or something.”
I say quickly, like I’m nervous.

 

"Got a description? I could probably look over the crowd from up here."

 

“Pink-haired girl, gets redder as it goes down. Gotta black hood and a heart on her neck.”

 

I’ll walk up to the group.
“So, I assume I’ll be working with you three?”

 

“Pro’lly.”

 

"Brom, could you make a flat hand and then raise it?"

Brom does so and Toki climbs his arm, now watching over the crowd.

You don’t see anyone with an unusual hair color. Instead, you see fog falling very, very slowly into the streets. There’s also less people walking around than before.

 

“She’s not here anymore, probably.”
I jerk my head forwards, flipping my long hair over my face. Strangely, my mask doesn’t impede it from touching my face. I then say some words and move my hands, then jerk my head back, my hair flipping back to normal. Lifting my hair back reveals that I changed my mask, though, as it’s now flipped upside down, but instead of it being three-pronged, there’s a sort of cage over my mouth. The glass still appears over my eyes.

 

"Hey.. there is this strange fog coming into the streets. Is that normal?"
She sounds a bit panicked.

 

“Of course it is. What, didja just start existing now?”
I smile.

 

"Well, what do we do about it? Go inside or something?"

 

Can we pretend I was here for all this?

“It means curfew’s starting soon, or now, and we should head home.”
I glare at you.
“But I’m staying out for a while anyways.”

 

"Oh. I never noticed that."

"What time is it then?"

 

@Nem what time is curfew usually?

“Never... whatever.”
I sigh.
