Toki:"Turn around, Brom. They are heading back to the shop."

 

Noted.
On the top floor you see a short hallway, a door on the left side and another at the end of it. A dim light creeps from under the door of the room at the end.

Yes

 

I see if the knob of the left door is locked.

 

I'll run after the guy who went upstairs.
"Oy, you there. What are you up to? And on that note, who even are you?"

 

It's locked. As you get closer to the door at the end of the hallway, you hear a mumbled voice speaking.

 

I barely look towards you, so my long hair blocks my mask, which blocks my face.
“What’s it to you?”

I try the knob at the end of the hallway.

 

Toki:"Okay Brom, let's go inside. Try not to bump both of our heads while we go in."

Brom walks inside.

 

It's unlocked and it opens. The room is a medium-sized room, but looks very cozy and old-fashioned. It's an office, with a large desk with a chair and a lamp behind it. Next to that desk is two couches. Across from those two couches is a T.V. left on. A tape is in the tape player.

 

"..."

"Strange."

 

Oh joy. Another one of those kinds of people.
"It seems I've gotten of on the wrong foot here. I go by Rikane, or Mr. Locke if your that kind of guy, and it seems that the one that summoned me here doesn't seem to be around. Now then, what do you happen to be doing round here?"

 

You bump into a warforged guard and a human as you walk into the restaurant. A freezer across the room is left open and a staircase leading upstairs is on the same wall.

 

“Just investigatin’”

I sit on the couch and watch the T.V.

 

Toki:"Uhm. Where to now?"

She looks at the guard.
"Excuse me, mister construct?"

 

(Whispering): “Claims he hunts monsters. He has magic though. Nothing else.”

 

You watch the black and white specks of a loss of signal shuffle across the screen.

 

I take out the tape, looking over it.

 

Does the tape have a label?

 

"Well, just don't cause any trouble, you hear?"
I'll look around the room (at least, I assume I've entered the room while talking to him).

 

The sticker label on the tape reads:
"The reason you're here"

 

“Yeah, sure.”

I put it back where it was, seeing if it works.
