I stand up and pull out a wand. "Wh-what the hell are you?"

 

The blonde man says happily "Nothing like a good fight to spice up the evening!" as he draws his sword

So @Riven would I be able to make an arcana check pre-combat to see if I can tell what the magic is?

 

Oh yeah, I should probably roll initiative for my ranger companion who's still outside.

I don't think he gets advantage on initiative rolls.

 

There are no normal guests currently in the inn. The only people in sight are the three musicians. The other two waiters have gone home and the third "waiter" cannot be seen.

 

I point at the blue one and my hand pulses white. I cast Hex, and choose Dexterity as the disadvantaged ability
I nock an arrow and fire at the blue one.
Atk: 8+7=15
Dmg if it hits: 2+4(P)+5(N)=11 damage

 

@Riven?

 

It hits the blue musician's left shoulder, leaving a hole that fills with the red substance curling around its staff. The musician doesn't flinch or make a sound. It stands motionless.
Dealt 11 damage.

@Florfy5's turn.

 

Arcana Check: 3. Damn it.

So, my turn.

I move and Eldritch Blast the blue guy.

Beam 1: 17 + 7 = hit
Beam 2: 7 + 7 = hit

Damage 1: 10 + 4 = 14
Damage 2: 7 + 4 = 11

Total: 25 force. I'll edit.

 

"Fancy gun."
I shoot at the red guy with my long bow.
To hit: 4+3=12
But I have advantage on attack rolls on creatures that haven't moved yet during the first round of combat so...
To hit: nat 20 *dabs*
Damage: 2(7+3+1)= 22!
"Not fancier then good old bow and arrow."

Also @Riven, how straightforward would it be for me to get more Arrows+1?

 

I'm up, then.

As I get up from my seat and start running towards Red, it's revealed that I'm actually quite short for being fairly built.
That doesn't seem to really matter, though, as I leap onto the stage and start wailing on the former musician.
Attack 1 (G): 12 + 8 = hit
Attack 2 (S): 6 + 7 = 13, just hits
Attack 3 (G): 5 + 8 = 13, just hits again
I fly onto the stage,my fist coming down right on Red's thigh to deal 13 points of magical bludgeoning damage.
I then uppercut the musician with the pointed end of my shield, dealing 9 points of damage.
For a solid finish, I use the opening from the uppercut to put my fist straight into his chest for another 13 points of magical bludgeoning.

Total damage: 35, and he is down.
Hera (@Linwood Welheart ) is up.

 

This guy just got 22 and 35 points of damage back to back. That must hurt.

 

I'll just use my action to dash and get near the group.

@Josh_Legacy, your turn.

 

Damnit it forgot to make my descriptor that I jam the arrow further into wherever you shot him.

 

Aaron is a pure melee fighter and is to far away to hit anyone so...

Leafy looks around like he forgot something (which he did) before whistling at the door. A bark is heard outside and a wolf with all gray fur save for a white line along his back runs into the room.

It's now Violatus (@ThomAnn100) turn.

 

The blast burns through the blue musician's clothes and flesh, which are sealed hastily by the same strange substance emanating from the weapons. It glows a faint color of purple.
Dealt 25 damage.

The red musician is impaled by the arrow, which is wrapped with the mist. It twitches within the wound.
Dealt 22 damage.

The red's body drops to the floor, as motionless as when it stood upright. Blood seeps out from its cuts and wounds as the mist releases itself from its body.
The large firearm stays still in the air, before cracking and falling to the floor. The fragments slowly fade away from existence. It whispers:
"Mo...r.ee... pow..er..ful.."

 

I move up to the green one and devine smite his ass.
To hit: 14+4+3+1=22
Damage:5+4+1=10 slashing
Devine smite damage: 4+5=9 radiant damage and an additional 6 damage putting that to 15 radiant damage if it's a fiend or an undead.
