The red-cloaked stands over the pen, his mask filling itself with colors of the tavern now wrecked from the inside.
"Do you recall when I explained that the souls within the cursed item can only escape through the possession of another being who touches it?"
He stands still, his arms in the cloak.
"You all have very little to lose, but I have even less. You have to reach the end."
"To the paradoxical one, the resurrected, consider this your good faith."

Then, he reaches for the pen. You black out. The echoes of the red-cloaked's voice only grow more distant, calling:

As the cloaked man reaches for the pen, a terrifying surge of energy passes through you. The tavern distorts, shifting in glitched patchworks as the spectral image of a clock opens to expose an endless fall below you. It ticks once, twice. You black out.

"I will meet you much, much later. . . . I am still here. . . ."

Everyone rolls initiative and takes a short rest. Once everyone has initiative I'll update the B.M.

Your eyes open suddenly as your system is thrown into a state of shock. There's shallow, running water all around you. Thick mist suffocates your breathing, and rain beats down into the whirlwind tugging on your limbs. Above is a large dome of cosmos, different objects like ship parts and wooden buildings swirl around like a tornado. The sound of thunder paralyzes your ears and the sky pulses a violet-red. The sky bleeds, crying in roars.

From the eye of the cosmic storm crawls the man with the blood-red cloak. Black tumors of dark sealight spread throughout his body, surrounding him like an infectious aura.

It doesn't come from him, but it sounds like him. Rather, his voice echoes from the walls of fog spinning, spinning, spinning:
"My name is Stay. Allow us to be your enemy this encounter. . ."

Everyone place yourself on the map. @bluepenguin1002 put your turret down, it's also your turn

 

Piplue is visibly thrown off balance fron the sudden change he gets his bearings quickly and throws a flash bang at him

He needs to make a dex save or be blinded

I then yell a phrase in auran
