been preparing to attack wynn. Before Carlos could reach the dern portal in time, the Dern Beast (who had somehow been unbanned) spewed out with its army and devastating everything in sight. Dr. Carlos....

 

quickly left SE and shut the entrance again, returning to ask ocel0tgirl for help. Once she finished her homework, she offered to bring her armies in so Dr. Carlos could un-darkness the dernic forces safely. When they returned to SE, ...

 

they were able to un darkness the entire army. However, they somehow missed the dern beast and it retreated back into dern. Dr. Carlos

 

decided to give up on the Dern Beast as it would take much more than an Anti-Corrupter 2000 to defeat him.
At this point (after curing the entire Wynn Province), he moved on to Gavel, modifying the existing design to create the Anti-Decay 3000; a device that cured land and created money (without inflation; somehow) ...

 

but when he started mass producing and selling it to high class guys, it somehow inflated the Gavel economy (even though the machine is incapable of doing such thing) and destroyed the cost of emeralds. Dr. Carlos then moved out of Gavel and...

 

Turned to Corkus to solve their factory problem.
At this point he was having fun saving the world ...

 

but unfortunately, the government of Avia explained that because of the Avos takeover, they didn't have a factory problem for him to solve anymore - in fact, the only factory they had left was ditsario's personal factory, and they were perfectly fine with leaving that one. Dr Carlos created a machine that rids the corruption, and uncorrupted Bak'al and his army. He then upgraded it so it can rid decay and darkness. Now, he had just uncorrupted the forgery dungeons.

it backfired, amalgamating Carlos’ soul and turning him into an evil, greedy, generic mad scientist. The symptoms didnt show at first, so Thing500 didnt notice anything, but after a while people around Dr. Carlos’ lab noticed hat he has been constructing mechs to burn down houses and take any valuables. The Gavellian guard was sent, but the mechs had a very good defense mechanism and forced the guard to retreat. Fortunately, The Gavellian government knows about Ditsario, and sent him a request saying that if he helps them defeat Carlos, he would be pardoned for blowing up Levigar and Karoc Quarry and allowed access to the area. He asked if there was a way to remove the Greed aspect from Dr. Carlos's soul and Thing500 was like "yes duh" but it would take a ritual often taking over 10 minutes, and he doubted that Dr. Carlos would calmly stand there while Thing500 unheeded him while he could be stealing and burning.
