It's still based off of ToS.

 

But it doesn't have to BE Town Of Salem

 

I didn't see a reason to not let them kill one of their own, and thought it would make the game a bit more interesting (and it did) so I let them. This game takes inspiration and ideas from Town of Salem, and the Werewolf and Mafia card games, but is not trying to be those games, so somethings will be, and have been, different.

And maybe that was why "His true identity cannot be known" when he was killed,because he was always a corrupted.
And if that is not what you are asking,roles do repeat...If they don't,it would be ruining the game.Imagine you have to fit the four citizens with a special position.

 

I said at the beginning that I didn't get it as randomized as I would have liked to, and that some people had a role they had before

I wasn't able to get it as randomized as I would have liked for returning players, but it should be entertaining none the less.

And as for why his role wasn't instantly revealed, it's because he asked me to not until he posted his will (the reveal was going to be in the random event) You guys will find that I can be compromising if you simply ask nicely
