I wish for Stormarend to understand that most negativity only causes negative consequenses, that you don't have to be all happy and dandy but that you also shouldn't focus on the negatives and instead critizise in a way where you give advise on what should be changed, not shame someone for what they did wrong. Just don't phrase things in a way where the point of the text becomes to hurt the recipient in some way. This became a rant-wish... gl, granter!

Not part of the game, but what I said was about forced positivity. Your post is about something completely different. Besides, I never said you should go out of your way to hurt people. I said we shouldn't just be happy about everything, which you also said. What's your point. Also, criticism is negativity. That's not a bad thing. Criticism is expressing your disapproval of something. It's negative. You're talking like if something is bad, it must be negative.

Okay, I was assuming this was connected to the recent mostly shaming and rude posts made when RtD was canceled, at least more than you say it is, sorry. I agree that you shouldn't have to all positive and happy all the time, and you have the right to complain and criticize, as I said in that post. I don't agree though with the statement that criticism always is negative. Criticism can be pretty positive: "Hey, great work! If you improved this and changed this it would be even better!". I believe that things should be expressed in a positive manner when possible, and that negativity really doesn't help anyone but is allowed as long as no one gets hurt from it. If you want to continue talking about this feel free to start a convo, I feel like we're disrupting the game a bit rn.
