Connection error: getsockopt

When trying to connect to Wynncraft minecraft returns this message: "Connection timed out: getsockopt"

I tried every solution I found on other forums including:
- restarting my pc
- reinstalling minecraft and java
- disabling firewall
- changing the DNS settings

None of these worked.

Just yesterday I was able to connect to the server with no issues.

Does anyone know other solutions I could try?

 

I waited for half an hour and all of a sudden the issue has resolved. No idea what caused it.
