Concerns With Alkatraz

All it can be used on is something with a weakness to earth, only good in some duels, and greatly slows down your walk speed, I dont really see any problem with the weapon itself either.
Theres so many better spears to use in any real importance circumstance (aka not duels).

actually -walk speed is useless. you can switch to holding a potion or whatever when you are walking and switch back when you are trying to attack

 

Welp, if people start hating on archers at least i can say ive had my level 74 archer from 1.12 :P

Well, my friend is getting well over 75k uppercuts with it, and others are afk grinding with it. Is that not at least somewhat broken? @Selvut283 can you even say this is remotely the intention of alkatraz?

EDIT: The weapon can do over 20k damage with poison damage, without using cancer. This procs even on thorns/reflection. There is literally no way of defending this bs. If you attack this build once, you instantly die. Even if you are a mob.

 

Yep, theres a bug when you have negative poison it deals melee damage of weapon per hit for poison. Psychotherapy is doing insane amounts of poison damage right now. 15k-20k just poison damage because he does 5k-8k melee damage per hit(with alkatraz). Please fix. Bug is gamebreaking in pvp.

Some of you now said that its unbalancing that you can AFK Farm with it, but dont you know you can also AFK Farm with apocalypse and Grimtrap? Well, but all of this is very inefficient cause it takes a lot of time, more then normal. And dont forget, the lifesteal must be at least the Maximum of the mobs damage you are farming, otherwise you slowly die

 

What is afk farming

Afk farming is afking with high reflect thorns and life steal to be invincible to mobs. So the mob kills itself and you gain xp while afk

 

lifesteal is fine, its more of a problem that thorns and reflection procs lifesteal and broken poison. Fix the poison and don't allow t&r to proc on hit attacks and afk farming is impossible
