Detlas - oh shit a new city found in my first 20 minutes of playtime

Corkus - woo new record got bank acc to corkus in 2 hours and only 23 deaths

While you guys are argueing between Corkus or Detlas.
You guys forgot about Cinfras...

@JackyKit idk why but lately I have been seeing Hostile mobs entering Corkus City, and it will be dangerous for my bank classes to go there...

And lately corkus city has been quite quiet.

I like both places, so I would keep my bank classes in detlas to trade and my level 100s classes in corkus city to loot run, farm uth rune and exchange powders.

Generally I let my customer choose whether to trade in detlas or Corkus City

 

Corkus City is better:
1: You can access Corkus whenever you'd like actually, the quest just lets you get there faster. You do have a point in the bias against lower levels, but let's be honest, most trade market shops give you the option to trade wherever is best for you.

Plus I'd really like to hang with players of similar skill than I.

2: Yeah? So? We're talking about Corkus CITY. Which is roughly in the center of Corkus. Why does Corkus being towards the west worse for trading?

I honestly would love for the airship that gets you to Cinfras to Detlas and vise versa to also be able to take you to Corkus City after talking to Calo in Corkus City. Also, sure Qira and Thanos are close to Cinfras, but so is the Fallen Factory and those Golden Avis to Corkus City. Detlas however is just a town you are more or less going to pass by each time you head to a different town.

3: Layouts, honestly they are fairly similar. To where i think it shouldn't be that much of an issue. But in defense of Corkus City, the things hanging from some houses and the castle are fantastic to run around with no point. That little fence infront of the bank in Detlas can only do so much.

4: Limited space for dueling? I think the IDer in Detlas is more limiting than a perfect arena circle in Corkus City.

This made me the most "Huh?" out of the entire post. Mostly since a counter argument was literally a phone screenshot above what i am countering

The flat space with some walls is much better than a small rectangle of a pathway.

That space? Yeah, I've never heard of that being the dueling space, right in front of the bank is where i see duels in detlas.

The conclusion is where i can have some kind of agreement; this war of which trade city is better and is deserving of "The Trade City" needs to have a definitive answer. My vote is for Corkus, as it seems much better. The long run? Detlas will more or less triumph, really the question is only up because of the update, 4 quests, a dungeon, and Uth Runes can only do so much for so long. However, I am kinda bored of Detlas, sure "if it ain't broke don't fix it," but this new thing is really good and has minimal downsides.

You're assuming people want to go through all that effort.
The problem with this whole debate is that this isn't an "official" title; and therefore can only be changed by influencing the masses; something hard to do.
Besides, the average new player doesn't have a forums account, and doesn't want to go through lots of effort.

tbh, do you really think getting to nemrekt then VSS to Selchar then CSS to CC then walk 250blocks to get to the CC or getting to Detlas is easier?

Yes, that is indeed true that FF and Golden Avia spawning are both located in CC, but tbh who would need to farm FF everyday, looking at the items in FF, there are just several items that can be good for end game purpose, while we compare Detlas-Cinfras, Forgery provides access to 5 corrupted dungeons, which gives better end game gears.

I was hoping that CC learn from the failure of failure of Cinfras, it had, and still has the problem that the middle trading area is completely flat and you need to LOOK FOR a place to jump on, like the one stated in orange's video, whereas in Detlas, the blocks are right outside the bank and you can easily hop around onto it.

I am gonna answer you with this video, when you take a look at 00:26, that double escape is surely going to make me collide on buildings, dueling in Corkus City is a surely no call for archer or mage also when you take a look at Golfbawl casting tp, there is no tall grass in Detlas that would obstruct the TP, and as you see, the mobs are low level mobs which wont affect 'as much' (even thought yes they are annoying) as you are dueling outside Corkus City

 

1) Yeah, If you really wanna be nit-picky you could stop at Nemract or wherever for a boat, but you are not exactly accurate when you can take a swim/manual boat ride off Ragni and past Legendary Island.

2) Valid point indeed, In fact the only item I wanted to get I already have, but it's level 90, the highest leveled dungeon as of now. And when I mentioned the Golden Avia (Avis? whatever, you know what I mean) it also includes the Uth Rune boss. Yeah, there is a shrine in Aldori, but why bother get something from one place to then take to a shine FAR away than one that's a good 2-3 min walk/run/horse ride/etc. away?

3) ok? Is looking to hard now? Deltas has it conveniently there, but as I said, it can only do so much. As for the castle in Corkus City, SWEET BOVINE LORD is that thing a mindless runaround place. Loot chests, Space core (Easter egg), various rooms to explore, and places to do an archer escape leap of faith.

4) Here I see a valid point, the mobs there are weak and not that plentiful, and if I really cared about duels (which I suck at and don't really care for) I would agree. But I have that bias against dueling so for me it doesn't really matter. Sure many players do look to and care about duels, but not everybody. And my fancy of a battle ground is subjective, others can think it's reasonable or not, we have preferences with arenas based on battle style.

 

the closet boat merchant for access is Nemrekt, which means you have to travel to Nemrekt anyway. Riding a horse to Detlas is inevitably way faster than riding a boat to CC

my argument is that the frequency for one needing Uth Rune, yes you may need a couple Uth Rune when you are going to need run dungeons several times, but you do not need Uth Rune everyday don't you? And as if a person would also need Nii Rune, there is no way that you can find any Nii Guardian in CC. Detlas(Cinfras) is still closer. But I will not fully disagree on this point.

Yes, it's true that CC has places to explore, but let's be honest, even when people are in Detlas, they are crowded right outside the bank, no one would bother running around the city that much, do you even see alot people crowding up at the item buyer? it's not about how much the city you can explore, it's about how much you can do in a small area, the tent that you can jump on

1) Nemract has the closet in-land boat merchant. However on what I see on the map (id there is one still there) The Bear Zoo has a closer boat merchant, but you do have a valid point. (Surprised you didn't mention price which I just realized right now).

2) I just really like the boss fight personally, and I could sell the runes for some extra EB to LE. But I see where you are coming from.

3) And the bank in Corkus City (I spell it out cuz I keep thinking of Crowd Control) has a lot more internal space for trading and lounging. And the entrance to the bank in Corkus City doesn't have on emerald merchant and echest that everyone crowds around.

 

Well I'd like to say that just because Corkus is in the middle of these three provinces, doesn't mean it's an ideal location and will inevitably have "more traffic". These days fast travel is used to bypass the ocean (where Corkus is located), and chances are if they don't use fast travel, someone who wants to get to Gavel or Wynn most likely won't take a pit stop at Corkus either.

Also, what you said about Detlas only being the center of Wynn while Corkus is the center of the universe doesn't make a difference in my opinion, as most players are either going to be in Gavel or Detlas. The center of both of those provinces are connected through Cinfras and Detlas airship travel, and out of those two, Detlas is more popular. For example, any player in Gavel who doesn't have a tp scroll to Wynn is going to go to Cinfras and use the airship, and vice versa for Wynn. Detlas allows convenient travel from Wynn to Gavel, taking you from the center of one province to the center of another, while Corkus either sticks you on Selchar, or in the middle of Kandon Beda if you don't take into account scrolls.

However, if you do take into account tp scrolls, one Cinfras scroll is practically one Detlas scroll, as they are interconnected with airship fast travel. This makes a Deltas/Cinfras scroll the most accessible scroll in the game, and by extent, making Detlas/Cinfras the most accessible cities in the game. Corkus scrolls on the other hand are less available.

Basically this:

 

cinfras and detlas scrolls for the low price of 48 emeralds.

Also, fast travel to kandon beda and instant access to the entire ocean, no trek to Nemrekt necessary.

If you're looking to get INTO corkus, a selchar scroll is practically interchangeable with a corkus scroll much the same way detlas is with cinfras. Stock up on those for a much lower price. Any other ocean town works as well.

 

travelling onto Bear Zoo means that you'll have to swim on water, it takes as much time as travelling to Nemrekt, it's kinda pointless to travel and get a boat then get to CC which you don't have any quests on there

I don't understand how Corkus is even being considered as a trade hub when its lv85+ and Detlas is lv10 and right in the middle of Wynn. Trading with all levels and recruiting parties for low-to-mid level dungeons and quests would be easier, plus it's not like new players are even annoying...

 

CC scroll costs 3eb which can be quite alot for some people, and is certainly alot when you are looking to buy a large amount of scrolls
and instead they buy Selchar scroll for replacement, but why scrolling to Selchar with 24e then board CSS then walk another 250 blocks before you get into the center of CC while you can just spend 16e on Detlas scrolls?

 

Where's the Cinfras option on the poll ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
