This is an expansion on Pets from the store. Pet skins will remain cosmetic. However, pets in general will not. Like horses, the pet store is unlocked by a quest of it's own, and then you could buy pets. They are still tradeable. They are also breadable.

Default pets are Chickens, Pigs, Sheep/rams, and Cows/bulls. Just like Horses, you can give them skins. This means you can have a dragon fighting for you!

They are very similar to horses, as in they can be breaded.

Like a brown, a chicken does up to 10/10 damage, a pig is 20/20, and so one.

This is how damage works: dps of the weapon you're holding converted to neutral, divided by 20, multiplied by the pets level.

So, if I do 40 dps, and have a 30/30 ram, my pet would deal 60 damage. If it were a 40/40 bull, it would deal 80 neutral damage. Pets level up by being used, just like horses. but instead of being rode, pets gain xp by hitting mobs. So here is how much xp pets get when hitting:

    1: 15%
    2: 14%
    3: 13%
    4: 12%
    5: 11%
    6: 10%
    7: 9%
    8: 8%
    9: 7.5%
    10: 7%
    11: 6.5%
    12: 6%
    13: 5.7%
    14: 5.3%
    15: 4%
    16: 3.8%
    17: 3.6%
    18: 3.4%
    19: 3.2%
    20: 3%
    21: 2.8%
    22: 2.6%
    23: 2.4%
    24: 2.2%
    25: 2 %
    26: 1.8%
    27: 1.6%
    28: 1.4%
    29: 1.2%
    30: 1%
    31: 0.8%
    32: 0.6%
    33: 0.5%
    34: 0.4%
    35: 0.3%
    36: 0.25%
    37: 0.2%
    38: 0.15%
    39: 0.1%
    40: Maxed

Pets will despawn if the player does anything in their inventory, and if the player goes to far.

Now, some of you are going to say this advocates afk grinding, so, the pet will not hit a mob if the player did not attack any npc within 5 seconds.

Aaaand that’s it! Thanks for reading my quick suggestion, be sure to suggest any changes.

His idea is pretty unique to those I've seen in the past, I don't see why he can't suggest a new idea for pets if it is unlike those that have been made in the past.

    Chicken + Chicken = Pig?
    Uhh.

    Idea grade: 74%
While it is good, the general idea of pets fighting has been alive since early Wynn.
Two main problems come up in every thread, and while you addressed them, they didn't get too much attention.
EULA was solved by the first couple paragraphs though, so that's good.
AFK grinding will still be a major issue with autoclick though.
We need a better solution to that.

A unique take on pets which is simpler, and keeps the store open.
However, you didn't fully address the main problems with every pet fighting thread, and have you ever heard of a spoiler?
    That's a really long thread.

    XD I agree.

biologically this obviously wouldn't work, but maybe you could have a slightly different system. Maybe near the pet store, have a farmer/trader person who will accept two animals of one tier and give you one of the next tier? So, instead of breeding them you trade them. There's a catch though - you have to level your pet up to max level (idk how hard that is tho) before you can trade it. Obviously the pet you recieve will be level 1, but you are, unlike with horses, guaranteed to get a pet of the next tier (until you get to the highest tier). This takes away the gambling element, so you don't waste a load of time and money getting two pets to max level then trade them and get a level 1 of the same pet. Also the pets should be untradable with other players, maybe make it so they can't be dropped and are instead in a specific slot? Idrk. But if the problem of afk farming can be solved, I have half of an idea but I won't post it right now, I think this will be an effective money sink if the pets are fairly expensive to buy.

To prove the effectiveness of this money sink, I've made a simple calculation.
So, let the price of a chicken be x. (Assuming you don't get one straight after the quest). Therefore, to get a tier 2 pet, the price will be (2 * x) or (2x). So the price of a tier 3 is 4x, tier 4 is 8x, etc (it double each time).
That might not really mean anything, it might not even be right because I can't be asked to think at the moment, and I don't know what it shows. Just ignore it please.
