I can agree with the 1st 2 points, but 5 extra SP can be huge, especially in the end game, when you are trying to squeeze as much good gear as possible. I am missing a couple of SP to use hive leggings, so those 5 SP seem really nice right now.

Mana steal is only useless because for some reason people refuse to melee, even when you can get decent melee dps on water. Hybrid is extremely undervalued, especially on the forums.
Also the difference between 100 and 105 intelligence is huge. That reduces mana on arrow storm, bash, spin attack, heal and war scream

 

I have to agree on that.
If you have good amounts of mana steal on spell build, you should adjust to that, otherwise it's a good amount of mana wasted.
Unfortunately, us spell users grew accustomed to only spell spamming. That's issue on our part and something we should work on.

moon pool is still better

 

You get one MPC per class, it gives huge -thunder defense as well. If you take the MPC then you also can't use the other water hive items.

 

Fusion rings should have some damage

 

well sure, but it's still better because of 2 mana
and I've never even thought about buying another give water item because mpc is the best anyway

 

The other water items are actually quite good, if harder to use than mpc.

 

It has downsides, which DHR does not.

 

Good luck with cybel using mpc. That -thunder is killer.

 

Keep in mind you aren't supposed to be able to wear 2 moon pool circlets on one class
