Command Suggestion|/toggle Armor Skins

Armor skin will be change in gavel tho, with the new textur pack

 

Resource packs won't change the skin look. Only the default ones such as Steve and Alex. The armor skins are a part of your skin, so it won't be able to be changed with a resource pack.

Well, I think that you can just turn off your outer skin layers in Skin Options and be done with it. Besides, just like Kurwa said, the new resource pack will replace the armorskins. (I think)

Plus, you know that people (in fact, just one!) actually worked, and worked hard, to make these skins, right? I don't think that you should call them trash/ugly/etc. and ask for a toggle. Those skins are hard work. I texture and make skins myself, so trust me when I say that.

 

I know they worked hard on it. I really appreciate every single piece of armor that was made. Just, armor skins always give me problams, and I just like the good and old armor look!

And second, if you disable all the extra layers, you become and armorless skin. What I meant was that it'll look like the armor before this feature existed.

 

Aahh. Well, you could switch to 1.7. Other than that, I'm not sure if that's possible, considering the way they're coded.

I wish they would just remove armor skins all together.
