Even back in 2015 I wasn't entirely on board with this being a thing anyways, but I understood the reasoning, only having liquid merchants in the biggest major cities where trade happened. However nowadays this feels like a legacy mechanic that just serves to be completely pointless, especially as the game has evolved with stuff like T7 emerald pouches that convert to LE, housing emerald merchants already selling LE, and the economy in general just being inflated enough to where LE is commonplace. In addition, back in 2015 there was no in-game trade market feature, you had to do all trading via the actual shift+right click trade mechanic and/or the Trade Market forums section, so it made sense to have liquid merchants primarily in major cities like Detlas and Cinfras, but nowadays basically every city in the game has one in its bank anyways except for Ragni and maybe one or two others.

The inconvenience is minor, but it certainly can be annoying sometimes, and just feels like an outdated mechanic, so I think it would be nice if they were combined into just the emerald merchants.
