I meant seriously thank you, and not doing the circular reasoning of "well, its not allowed because its a rule, its a rule because its not allowed"

It's a glitch in the code of all coloured chats, though I don't recall it working in /msg. Perhaps things have changed/gotten worse with Gavel.
