You head back down the looping path.

You start yelling about your fishing rod, over and over.
You scream about how much you really hate fishing rods for 10 minutes

Looks like the squirrel is gone...

You wake back up, and right on the tree you slept on, theres a hole!
You look inside.

It most definitely is the squirrel's home, with acorn pieces lying all around, and some scratchings on the interior that vaguely read out "Nuts 4 Nutz".
More interestingly, there's a small number key panel inside the tree.

You try to pull it out but there are wires holding it inside the tree.
A piece of paper fell out while pulling it.

It reads:
"Endless off-path control guide"
"There are 9999 open spaces of forest, this path is made to easily commute to and frou between them."
"If you wish to visit a specific spot, please enter it's 4-digit space code."
"Notice that setting the digits to 0000 will cause the path to loop and go nowhere."
"Please do not change the digits while someone is currently in a space."
"If you do so-happen to have this happen to you, do know that there multiple other panels in the woods."

Hoooooo boy...
At least you got the club code, hopefully...

Change the code to 418

And head to the club, bub

 

You change the code on the panel to 0418


And then head back to the club.

Wow Nhat?

 

Nutz 4 Nutz, bub

and if he doesnt take the bub then say it again but with no bub

 

You tell the stone golem you want to enter the Squirrel Hunters club.
Apon being asked for the password, you say "Nuts For Nutz".

The golem moves to the side and opens the door.

You can only wonder what you're getting into...

Well now, shall we?

 

“Wheres the fishing rod fetish section!”

“Huh, I thought I was into shelves, guess this world changed me.”

 

*sigh*
Before entering the building, you go back and pick up the fishing rod, to continue your love-hate relationship with it.
You still cant put it in your inventory, because its too big for your other pocket.

NOW, shall we?

 

I didnt expect to bring it into the building but sure rofl

 

You enter the club building.
Barely.
As soon as you enter you start getting pelted with acorns by 4 squirrels.

"GET OUT!" One shouts.
"GO AWAY AND GET YOUR OWN ACORNS!" Shouts another.
"IF I SEE YOU AND YOUR STUPID ROD AGAIN I SWEAR TO SCRAT!" Yells the third.
"This is the guy you were talking about Sal?" Says the last, as you notice he isn't actually throwing any acorns at you.

The acorns don't really hurt, they're just annoying.
You're not really able to look around the room, but you don't see any other doors.
Where are all the other clubs?

You feel like if you actually go inside more you'll be pushing your luck with the squirrels.
Maybe they have a password to the other clubs...

What now?

 

Leave and head to the house to think

 

You go back to the house to ponder...

You think about what there is to do and whats around.
Your current main goal is to find something to light up the basement.
Your secondary goal is to find more club passwords.
You wonder if there's anything at the bottom of the well.
You also wonder if there's a certain number code to imput into the number panel.
You haven't looked at what the sign says on the side of the road.
You remember that you're holding a fishing rod.

If at any point you guys feel stuck, just let me know, as... well, I'm kinda the one who's makin' all this.

You stop pondering.
