Just wanted to point out, I think that is actually west? I think (I should double check this) that the ocean is to the north? That would make the Desert to the East, Nessak to the South, and Ragni to the East? That is according to the compass on the Wynncraft Map. I will check in-game when I have the chance.

See the thing is this. The whole thing about mages learning teleportation from he people of Dern is what sparked my whole Dern-Enderman theory. However, That comes from the unofficial wiki, so it holds to authority. The whole thing about Gavel and ___ being light and Dark comes from Wynn Excavation site D. In fact... Its told to you by the king of Ragni... The only person who we know for a fact knows about other provinces (He was expecting you from another one)... OMG we have an Idea forming

Also, on top of that, Creepers. They are extinct (mostly) in Wynn, but you can find Creeper heads In Almuj. And (thanks to screenshots form @MarkedForDeath) We also see creeper heads in a Maltic Cellar and in the Rymek Bazar. Could Creeper hunters go to other provinces to kill creepers for their heads?

I love your faith in the wiki, but it's not 100% accurate. It's mainly updated by a group of players who have volunteered to do this, so the posts can be subjective to various views. In this case, it's more important to note that this lore came directly from a post by Grain (I think) from before the Great Wipe.

He probably means, just as Gavel is mentioned in Wynn, another province will be mentioned in Gavel
