first can boltslinger get good dps because I like the movement with the walk speed and things like that but apparently it only gets like 100k? and also is it really glassy?

Second is arcanist fun and ok for dps and other things because rn thats what im looking at, and whats the spell cycle for it?

yes, it depends on the weapon and build.

its pretty fun, and is also capable of dps. its spell cycle is meteor/snake and use heal when you're out of mana or hit max (or whatever that ability that spams 10 spells before is called)

    yes.

a few more questions if im not bothering u

do you think that bolt is glassy

and for heavy melee do you need a lot of setup for it like marks and knives or can you just spam quake and vanish and is it fun?

i havent personally played bolt... i dont think ever seriously? so im gonna withhold from commenting, but as you pointed out, frenzy does give you some pretty free walkspeed, and arrow shield is kind of always a thing, i hear its op but personally i dont like having to refresh it constantly.

ok so for the record im a mega hmelee glazer, even before 2.0, so my word might need to be taken with a grain of salt. that said imo it's about on par with/simpler setup than bmonk generalist. your damage comes from having knives (3 with the aspect), your target being marked (max of 9 with the aspect), vanish/surprise strike, and melee/quake/chain lightning.

to put it "simply", start with smoke bomb to build marks, then vanish and use spin to claim your knives. then build up powder special, vanish, quake/chain lightning/melee for damage. the ultimate is really the icing on the cake.

hmelee is honestly goated bc its always been a cheap playstyle. assassin has it exceptionally well bc of shade but every class can technically function as hmelee for cheap, just take the slowest attack speed weapons and compare the damage and pick whatever has the nicest looking stats.

Bolt is personally my favorite for archer. It was apparently nerfed (I didn't really notice) but it still gets pretty decent damage. I play with a relatively low dps, moderately tanky build, and I definitely can pass 100k dps. If you go glassy, you can absolutely demolish stuff; I was in a raid with a spring build yesterday who was probably hitting well over half a million dps.
