Class Resets For Gameplay Update?

@Broettinger will probably get another alt, and run up another 10 classes to 101+, in about 3 months. The rest of us will swear that he has bionic hands and fingers.

Im working on a mage right now being bored with a lvl 88 archer that takes to long to level up right now, so whatever quests i have done: whatever. To the updated quests coming up: cool, something new.

 

I'll try to get my Mage to 100. Its currently 97. Then I might try doing a warrior from scratch

 

I have 2 classes that I love: Knight and Ninja.
I'm gonna get both of those to 100, and finish all quests and their endgame builds.
Then I'm done.

 

One of my classes is my normal play class, and all the others are bank classes

In the Gavel Update, I reset because the admins recommended it and I knew how boring it would be. After the update, I was laughing so hard at everyone complaining about the update. They didn't reset their class because what they had was too important, but everything they had changed anyway.
Now, the only thing with items which is changing is the powders, and that's just an addition.
But I'm going to do a full reset (yes, I will delete my old class) for a few reasons:
1. I remember that, in Gavel, I had missed being a low level so much. I liked it. So I have a chance to do that again, this time with even more new things.
2. I want to try out a warrior which I do everything on. Since I tried it after the Gavel Update, I realised that I was finally starting to like close ranged fighting. And I liked the spells. Now I have the chance to focus on warrior completely, not even focusing on another class because I won't have any.
3. The quests. While there are a few which we have to re-do anyway, there are others such as ToL, with completely reworked story, that we can't do again. I want to go back through these quests... and warrior will also change the other quests for me, because I will do them with a different class.
4. Exploring. While I could do this with my mage, I find it more interesting going back through everything from the beginning.
5. Grinding and dungeons. These are changing, which means that some parts of these won't be relevant to me. I just won't have a low level that needs to do the low level ones.
6. Not sure if this will be added, but the main storyline. They suggested that, for the Gavel Update, we should reset our classes for this. But it didn't come out. But that suggestion is still there, so I'll just add it to this list.

One of the things that made so many people not reset last time was that they thought it would take way too long. Well, it took me ONLY A MONTH to reach level 74, where I used to be at, after Gavel. And I did this on almost no xp bombs too. Now in this update, some quest xp has been doubled and mob xp has also been increased. So no, there isn't really a reason not to reset... except money? No, because you get so much money, unless you spend it all on those laggy abominations called horses, from Gavel's quests. Not to mention that loot chances have changed, as well as most legendaries being buffed, which means you can easily get money by selling items.

The only thing left is sentimental value of my mage, but everything else easily outweighs that.

Yes, but every time I make a new class, I just give up and move onto the old one. But then I get bored of playing on the old one, which eventually leads me to stop playing on Wynncraft.

 

You and I are very different in this respect, I could never bring myself to delete my original mage no matter what. I spent 107 hours on that class and finished almost all the quests without dxp but I don't care, it's all that's left from three years ago when I joined and I wouldn't get rid of it for anything.

 

Huh. I usually can play through to level fifty, and it's usually bank space that's the reason I stop playing

My first class is the level 58 archer that I'm only really keeping around for bank space.

 

I used to think that, but when it came to Gavel, I thought, "I really like this mage... but I want a dark wizard as main and I can see that things are going to change a lot". This time I want to see the new lore and mechanics they've added to lower level quests and areas.

Am I the only person not to have a problem with bank space? Or does everyone else play more than one class at the same time?

 

I play all five of my classes at a time. This very quickly becomes a problem

it's also my highest leveled class and one of my favourite builds so that's part of it
