Base weapon is Harpoon launcher (left click for melee, right click for ranged) if melee is 100% base damage, ranged is 50% base damage; you sacrifice damage for range

Spell 1: Smash (6 mana)
[Melee spell] You swing your weapon at the enemy as hard as you can, knocking them back 3 blocks and dealing 200% base damage

Upgrade 1: Enemies you hit are now slowed by 15% for 2 seconds after the attack
Upgrade 2: Enemies that are slowed are now stunned instead for 0.5 seconds
Upgrade 3: Enemies that get hit can "smash" into other enemies, dealing 50% base damage to the first 2 enemies they hit/pass through

Spell 2: Slide (3 mana) You slide 10 blocks forward at a heavily accelerated speed (no upwards movement)

Upgrade 1: You now gain a 10% resistance buff (think war scream) for 30 seconds after casting the movement spell
Upgrade 2: You now slide somewhere between 12-17 blocks instead of 10
Upgrade 3: Your resistance buff now lasts 45 seconds instead of 30

Spell 3: Impale (6 mana)
[Ranged spell] Shoot an empowered bolt towards and enemy to turn their chest into a gaping cavity and deal 300% base damage

Upgrade 1: Enemies hit will be knocked back 5 blocks
Upgrade 2: Enemies are knocked back 7.5 blocks and are stunned for .25 seconds
Upgrade 3: Your bolt explodes upon contact with the ground, dealing 150% base damage to all enemies caught in the explosion and are knocked away from the explosion.

Spell 4: Grapple (8 mana)
The enemy is instantly "teleported" (pulled but it doesn't mess up your spell cycle) towards you until it has either hit your character or has been pulled 10 blocks, at which point it gets released.

Upgrade 1: You can now shift while casting grapple to smack the enemy back 10 blocks or until it hits a wall.
Upgrade 2: If any other enemies are in the way of your grapple, they will also be pushed back/pulled forward with the first enemy.
Upgrade 3: Your grapple now splits into three and while the central grappler stays the same, the side grapplers push/pull enemies 5 blocks.

 

How are you gonna cast spells if both left and right click trigger regular attacks?

switch "modes" instantly by pressing both left and right at the same time (or g/t/r keyboard buttons)

 

the classes seem fine to me

 

Keyboard buttons wouldn’t work bc of wynncraft being not modded
Unless they already have a function (like f to swap hands) it won’t be able to register it

 

how did this idea come out so inherently flawed I thought it was going to be nice

 

BTW, You only get two upgrades to the spells. The first is what it has when you first get it.
