Your Darkness should be 3, and how character abilities work is pretty much that characters get a small bonus to doing that thing. Also, you have to choose one of the two specified locations to start in, but we could say that there's an inn near the Commons.

You stand at the center of Banatuto's Commons, near a dried-up fountain. To the northwest is an abandoned house, its roof beginning to cave in entirely. To the northeast is a small shop, now occupied by a mushroom farmer. To the southwest is a road leading to a small square, and to the southeast is an inn turned into a crude barracks. You know of a bar to the north on the west of the northern road.

A.I go to the bar and get some drink and listen if there is anything interesting going on

 

I'll leave the stuff, seeing it's mostly junk. I would turn back to the hound thing and see if I can shoot it from here.

You head to the tavern. It's a small, damaged building, with a sign calling it the Awesome Anteater Alehouse with a picture of an anteater, and you hear voices and the sound of a guitar coming from inside. The door is almost falling off its hinges, and is open a crack.

Your shot strikes the hound, but it turns and charges at the island you're on. Now being able to see it better, it appears to be a Goblin, having skin made of large numbers of hands, six eyes, and three tongues that pull teeth out from its mouth and wield them as swords.

As you enter, you see a younger Ethidian floating at one area and badly playing the guitar, with a few clearly drunk people sitting near him. At the counter sits an old, black-haired Human. He looks at you. "Sure, you can have a drink." He pushes a mug of what you hope is some sort of alcohol towards you.

The mug tastes awful, but you can tell that it's at least somewhat alcoholic. The bartender wistfully shrugs. "Some hotshot adventurer who calls himself the Angel of Death is going out to some crazy distances. Least, that's what I've heard. Probably some story he says to make himself look better. I'd expect people to actually work together in this day and age..."

Sounds fun what exactly is he and where can I find more info about this so called Angel of Death

 

Use quotation marks to explicitly talk in-character. If you want to say something more general, just say something like

 

Oh ok sorry then I just ask him about the angle of death

 

The bartender shrugs. "I don't know much about him. He doesn't come by this place."

"Know where he usually goes?"

 

The bartender shrugs. "Heard he has some sort of base outside at some old watchtower."

 

"Thanks you have been helpful." I finish the drink,pay for it,throw a little extra for the info and try to find out more about this watchtower

 

Bartender: "It's a bit of a way out to the south of Banatuto. Not hard to see on a good day."
