make it so that you can choose the language of the game in the user settings for example: English, German, Russian, etc.

Wynncraft has A LOT of text in-game, probably thousands of dialogue lines. To translate everything would take a very long time and a huge amount of effort.
The wiki does have some quests translated in different languages though.

Do you have any ideas how it could work?
Even if not behind the scenes, then just how you would switch it

I think it will be most convenient to switch either in the character menu or when choosing a class. I think the ability to play in your native language will increase online, since it is not always possible for a person who does not know English to understand what he should do. After all, it may not be convenient to watch the wiki every time because for pc power

It would definitely be convenient, but it wouldn't be very feasible. The wiki translations have been worked on for years at this point, and even then only a small few languages have translations in every quest. Translating everything in the game (not just quests, but other NPCs, secret discoveries, etc.) for even a single language, and attempting to keep all the name meanings intact, would take a really long time, and doing it for multiple would take much, much longer. Unless you have some idea for how this could be implemented without taking up a ton of the CT's time, it's very likely to not be implemented any time soon.

    Also, who would translate?
CT? They have enough work already.
Volunteers? Google translator (bad) + slow + late (when an update drop then the translations can begin)

It is too much effort that would only affect a small minority of all players.

Perhaps instead of translating everything by hand, it would be more feasible to create a mod that would automatically translate everything? I have no idea how code works, but maybe it could link up the various languages vanilla Minecraft can switch to and then alter all of the quest dialogue! Such an endeavor could be worth the effort too, since it would assuredly increase foreign Player activity!

We all know google translator is not good. And considering Google's size I don't think any other translating service would work

As other people have mentioned, the idea has been brought up a lot, but it's ultimately not really a viable option. Even if they only picked a handful of languages, that's tens if not hundreds of thousands of lines of dialogue, item descriptions, lore and miscellaneous text (including signs) that would need to be translated, which would take hundreds of hours to translate manually, or it could be shoved into Google for some very interesting results.

The problem with that is that it doesn't have a full dictionary in each language; it just has translations for things that are in the vanilla game.

While having translations made available to everyone would be great, it's just not viable for something the size of Wynncraft to do. The best we can do for now is just support community driven projects, like translations on the wiki, and to help ensure that those are accurate and up to date.

A large proportion of the Wynn playerbase is now Russian so if the server remains popular in Russia for long enough it may be somewhat worthwhile
