World Chestplate Cosmetics?

I mean I wouldn't mind Chestplate cosmetics.

Or maybe combining Chest / Leg cosmetics to make " outfit " cosmetics in a way.

Suits, Robes, Cloaks, Things that allow you to run around as more than a Slab of [insert material] Armor with a Shiny hat on occasion,

I particularly like the idea of having something Like Monk Robes be equippable, as that fits a lot more playstyles than Launching yourself around in a slab of Blue squares.

 

The head slot supports custom models and unique textures without mods, but the other slots do not. The best you could do is dyed leather or invisible armour

 

I miss the days when each armor piece had its own custom skin

 

Can't different durabilities get different textures? If I'm remembering that correctly, armour skins could become a thing again.

The reason helmet cosmetics are possible is because if you use a command to put an item in your head slot, it will actually render. This does not work for the other 3 armour slots.

Wynn used to have custom armour that would directly add the pieces to your skin somehow, but Mojang told them to stop
