Would be nice if there was a system in the game that takes the median level of say 3 of your characters/profiles/classes and when you create a new character it will set the level of the new character to that median level.
If the player decides they want to skip all the quests and grinding to that point that is, so it's optional.
Why I say 3 characters is because it makes you work for the right to have that option atleast.

Hard no. Just because it's 3 characters still doesn't mean this is a lot of effort. Part of the fun of levelling up a new character is finding out how a new skillset works, and accelerated levelling almost trivializes any effort one might put into a new class. I like having to be slowly introduced to a new moveset each archetype introduces, and I'm pretty sure a lot of other people are like this too.

No, this would not be good for the game. I do however see the potential for them to add the armory bonus from FFXIV, wherein new characters will get more XP up to your highest level character.
Say, 10% or 20% XP bonus or so for each character you have that's of a higher level.
